Resumo

With the present study, we initially seek to contribute to the understanding of how Rural Education is the result of constant struggles that can be perceived and used in current contexts. Thus, this discussion will have Santos et all, and documents such as the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education, the National Support Program for School Transport as a reference. Well, this article intends to consider the importance of school transport for the operation of Escola do Campo and how such demand was assumed and faced in the municipality of Goiás-Go. Which paths were traced, in the quest to assist the rural student in the last two years in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, a little of how this happened in settlements and in the rural school in the municipality of Goiás - GO. The objective of this work will be to analyze how school transport was used to serve students who did not have access to technologies in our municipality. Thus, in order to understand the present, it was necessary to delve and consider the past, in order to understand the dimension of the struggles and processes around education and especially public policies aimed at rural education, with all its dynamism, subjectivity, marks, vulnerabilities, challenges, central focus of this work presented here. Still, secondly, the text relates the concepts and historicity of Rural Education from the perspective of documents that ensure public policies for rural subjects and Paulo Freire, where it is perceived that to practice the pedagogy of hope, is to maintain the permanent struggle for a fairer, more solidary and less excluding society. As contextualization, the text presents the narratives of four research participants, which describes a little of the history they experienced in the search for better conditions for school transport and the challenges for their children to get to school. The research provided a close experience of the reality of rural people for an increasingly efficient education. In such a way that we can already signal and recognize that it is not enough to only offer schools, it is also necessary to offer means for students to arrive at school and remain. Therefore, it is by knowing and recognizing the importance of such public policies that the subjects responsible for the execution and inspection can assume the effectiveness of the same in the field and for the field. Therefore, school transport is essential in rural education.
