Perspectivas para o desenvolvimento do turismo no espaço rural de Palmas - TO

Abstract

The Rural Tourism is one of the modalities of alternative tourism that has been increasing in Brazil. The agitated life in the great centers has provoked a race for this modality, which represents the come back of peace and the tranquillity. The attractive ones are the natural resources, the culture, the local feeding and the way of life of the man of the field. The rural tourism is practised in country properties, where the tourist lives the field, while he observes the way of life and the practical agriculturists of the lodging place. At the same time, the activity, when it is planned well, it can promote wealth for the local areas where it lies on itself. That is, small good producers may crop spoon fruits taking part in this activity. For that, it must be in mind that the tourist activity must also be a complement to the agricultural activity, without overlapping to this one and not replacing it, duly warned to lose the characteristic of tourism in agricultural space, mainly, its interface with the agribusness. In the region of the city of Palms, Tocantins State, it is not different. Although it has not initiated, the activity of tourism in the agricultural space can be configured in an exit to improve the generation of income for the familiar agriculturists. However, in order to make the activity functions work out in the region, it is necessary an active participation of the public power, and a promotion agent of the tourism. Therefore, the involved local actors (the proprietors) need more information to get to know the activity, and how it is carried out, to be able to develop this activity at ease in their properties. This research, aims a theoretic-methodological discussion of the practice of the tourism in the agricultural space, the interface of this activity with the agribusness, the mapping of the bases found in the region for the activity and an analysis of the agricultural way to observe if it has conditions to develop such activity.
