Abstract

In this article, the intention is to debate social representations of female ageing through the analysis of online media content, considering theoretical premises of discourse analysis and the dispute for its hegemonic meanings and the new forms of experiencing aging, in which media treatment towards the Macron couple seems to be emblematic.Este articulo debate las representaciones sociales del envejecimiento femenino por medio del análisis de los discursos de revistas y textos online, a partir de la perspectiva teórica del Análisis del Discurso y la disputa simbólica por la legitimación de los sentidos sociales de la vejez. Se considera que el tratamiento de algunas revistas online ao casal Macron es emblemático de tal disputa simbólica.
