Impacto da atividade turística nas receitas públicas municipais: o caso de Aruanã – Goiás (Brasil)

Abstract

It is common to associate the performance of municipal public revenues to the type of economic activities developed in the municipality, example which applies to those with a touristic profile. In the case of Aruanã, as revealed on the research, this perspective was not proved for two reasons in special: the first is the high informality which involves the activity and the second is the absence of taxes instruments to favor the raising of the revenues.
