Abstract

The purpose of this paper is analyze the systems of power and disciplinary technologies in novel Em nome do desejoby John Silverio Trevisan. Our analyzes seek to highlight the repressive hypothesis of sexuality and the disciplining of bodies anddesires of young boys in the space of the seminar in order to ensure the maintenance of a hegemonic masculinity, throwing out those individuals who do not fit the heteronormative standards.
