Resumo
Alexandre Rampazo, in Este é o
lobo, dialogues with characters from fairy
tales, like “Little red ridding hood” and “The
three little pigs”, among others tradicional
tales, in an unusual way. In this narrative,
the Wolf takes over the protagonism, so it is
through his perspective that the unfolding of
the facts is narrated. The graphic design of
the book, initially published by DCL
Publisher, in 2016, is essencial for the reader
to be instigated to meditade on the new
garmens that the narrative gives to the
ancient stories. In this sense, this article
analyzes the confluence between verbal and
non-verbal language in the book,
objectifying to show how this interaction
results in a bold and challenging project,
which contributes to diversified and
complex readings of the book in its entirety.
As a basis, studies by Linden (2018),
Nilolajeva and Scott (2011), Canton (1994,
among others, were invited.
