Resumo
This paper consists in the analysis of the fictional narratives in the context of the convergence of culture, in a more specific way addressing the transmedia narrative and it’s elements. Based on Henry Jenkins (2009), by transmedia narrative it is understood every one that make itself present in more than one vehicle and in each one of them is expanded as an independent story. According to Yves Reuter (2011), the narratives own an important space in our culture, therefore, adopting a narratological perspective, basic principles considered mutual to all kinds of narratives are studied here and throw them it is proved the transmediatic potencial of Robert Kirkman’s story (2003) The Walking Dead in its original support and in TV. The study about the both kinds of media searched and the techniques that made them possible, it reaches the wanted conclusion that is to present and explain the choice of the specific elements that turn the story a transmedia by definition e how Kirkman (2003) was successful in his objective.
