Níveis de energia metabolizável e de metionina em rações para codornas (Coturnix coturnix japonica) em postura

Resumo

This experiment was carried out to evaluate the effects of the combination of three levels of metabolizable energy (2.700, 2.850 and 3.000kcal/kg) and two levels of methionine (0.45% and 50%) in rations for Japanese quails during the laying period. The results of the experiment did not show any statistically significant difference for the productive factors. Only for 0.50% methionine level, the values of average egg weight were higher and feed conversion rates were lower (both dozen eggs and egg mass) when compared to 0.45% methionine rations.
