Item “Podem quebrar o maracá, mas não vão quebrar nossa tradição”. Datsimadzébré, ritual xavante de iniciação dos Danhohui’wa e dos Wapté(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-02-29) Abdzu, Fabio Ubre'a; Alvarez, Gabriel Omar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1246783304706348; Alvarez, Gabriel Omar; Dias, Luciana de Oliveira; Herbetta, Alexandre Ferraz; Coelho, Rafael FrancoThe work, by a native anthropologist, reviews the bibliography produced by the white man, pointing out errors in the interpretation of the tradition of the A’uwẽ Uptabi people. The research presents an analysis of Datsimadzébré, an initiation ritual for danhohui’wa and wapté. The ritual, which creates age groups, was generally analyzed from the point of view of adolescents, (wapte), but did not received due attention from the point of view of the danhohui'wa. One of the highlighted points is the passage of the danhohui'wa to the group of the ipredu, the older adults who participate in the meetings in the wara. The danhohui'wa term is often translated as "godfathers", the analysis points to the inadequacy of that translation. The work articulates the narrative written with oral narrative explored through the audiovisual.Item Métodos diagnósticos para o vírus mayaro: revisão sistemática e avaliação molecular em pacientes arbovirose like em unidade municipal de sáude de Goiânia-Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-02-17) Abrantes, Gabrielly Regis; Anunciaçāo, Carlos Eduardo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4354412874919580; Lacerda, Elisângela de Paula Silveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9390789693192751; Lacerda, Elisângela de Paula Silveira; Anunciaçāo, Carlos Eduardo; Lino, Guilherme; Mrué, FátimaDiseases caused by viruses are considered an often neglected public health problem that affects thousands of people worldwide, every year. Symptoms like fever, arthralgia and rash. classify patients as syndromic dengue or arbovirus like. The differential diagnosis of arbovoresis is by serological and molecular techniques. The present study aimed to evaluate diagnostic techniques in studies published in the literature in order to develop a Systematic Literature Review on the detection of the Mayaro virus that allows health professionals to carry out an efficient laboratory diagnosis, as well as the application of molecular tests for the diagnosis of MAYV. The available literature was evaluated by systematic review, focusing on the diagnosis of the Mayaro virus in humans and its methodologies. The systematic review was carried out through an exploratory study in the databases: Scielo (Scientific Eletronic Library Online), Medline (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online), Scopus database, PubMed, LILACS from June 8, 2019 to 02 November 2019, selecting scientific articles according to the criteria of the PRISMA (2009) recommendation. The data showed that the circulation of the Mayaro virus in urban regions is already well established worldwide and that the misdiagnosis is frequent due to similar symptoms with other arboviruses. There is a wide use of varied methods over time in the diagnosis for this arbovirus, requiring further research to implement a standardized, sensitive and specific method. In a second stage of the research, between May to August 2017 and January to June 2018, 452 samples of patients with syndromic dengue symptoms (arboviruses like) were screened. The samples were sent to the Molecular Genetics and Cytogenetics Laboratory of the Federal University of Goiás, where they were subjected to molecular screening by Polymerase Chain Reaction followed by Reverse Transcriptase (RT-PCR) reaction. All positive cases for the first PCR were confirmed on RT-qPCR for viral detection. Thirteen positive samples went through both tests and thus were subjected to Sanger sequencing. In this experimental study, 17 samples were positive for the Mayaro virus infection (RT-PCR and RT-qPCR), and co-infections with the Dengue virus were also found by molecular screening carried out in parallel for the Dengue virus by RT-PCR and RT-qPCR. The positive samples for MAYV / DENV were analyzed phylogenetically, suggesting circulation of Dengue serotype 2 and a Peruvian strain of Mayaro Virus (strain IQ 4235) in Goiânia.Item Citogenômica de pterodon pubescens e citogenética comparativa com P. emarginatus (leguminosae)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-05) Albernaz, Victória Borges; Souza, Luiz Gustavo Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3626102935973855; Soares, Thannya Nascimento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5590256762396056; Soares, Thannya Nascimento; Harand, Andrea Pedrosa; Vianello, Rosana PereiraThe genus Pterodon Vogel (Leguminosae) has only four species, of which P. pubescens (Benth.) Benth. and P. emarginatus Vogel (both known as "white sucupira") are the closest phylogenetically. These species have a wide geographical distribution in Brazil and have chromosome number 2n = 16 with small and morphologically similar chromosomes. The objective of the present work was to carry out a comparative analysis of the genome size, the banding pattern and the composition of repetitive elements in the chromosomes of P. pubescens and P. emarginatus, aiming to enhance the cytogenomic and evolutionary knowledge of these species. For this, cytogenetic characterization was performed by analyzing the number and chromosomal morphology, CMA and DAPI banding, hybridization with DNAr 5S and 35S and determining the genome size by flow cytometry. In addition, we used P. pubescens genome sequencing by NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) using the Illumina platform to characterize repetitive genomic fractions, using a Galaxy/RepeatExplorer-Elixir platform. The most abundant elements of the P. pubescens genome were located on the chromosomes by fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) and transferred to P. emarginatus. The species showed very similar karyotypes with: (i) CMA+/DAPI- bands in the terminal region of two chromosome pairs and pericentromeric region of all chromosomes; (ii) two pairs of 35S rDNA sites co-located with the terminal CMA+ bands; (iii) a pair of 5S rDNA sites located in the proximal region of a chromosomal pair. The genome size of P. pubescens and P. emarginatus was also similar, 1C = 0.665 pg and 1C = 0.620 pg, respectively. The repetitive fraction represented 26,4% of the P. pubescens sequenced genome, with Ty3-Athila Ty3-Athila (24,24%), Ty3-Tekay (21,93%) and Ty1-Ale (3,37%) retrotransposons being the most abundant elements. Low abundance satellite DNAs were identified: PubSat1-254 (2,09%), PubSat2-76 (2,06%), PubSat3-216 (0,58%), PubSat4-138 (0,23%). In situ hybridization reveal that all analyzed repeats were enriched in proximal CMA+ heterochromatin in both species, except for the Ty1-Ale retroelement, which was also dispersed also in the euchromatin of P. pubescens chromosomes. The cytomolecular similarity observed here suggests that the genomes of P. pubescens and P. emarginatus have highly similar repetitive fractions, which corroborates their phylogenetic proximity. However, the recent expansion of the Ty1-Ale element in the P. pubescens genome suggests some degree of differentiation in the repetitive fractions of these genomes.Item Arte y comunicação: in(fluxos) de uma poética de (re)xistência em Tatiana Nascimento(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-23) Albuquerque, Juliana Cristina Barbosa; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4360025460772301; Santos, Goiamérico Felício Carneiro dos; Borges, Rosana Maria Ribeiro; Ribeiro, Ana Elisa FerreiraIn this study we investigate the cultural plots that influence and affect the convergence relations between Art and Communication. Through a research of Cartographic approach to Cultural Studies, it is proposed to analyze the communicational and affective structures present in the poetic production of the artist tatiana nascimento, founder of padê editorial. Theoretically, we trace the relationships between cyberspace and technopoetics that unfold the creation, production and diffusion of the artist's poetics, these spaces were fundamental to the convergence process that the artist's poetics assumes. The relevance of printed books categorizes the potency of (re)existence of this art; while the creation and diffusion in digital media demarcate performance as a primordial act of the artist's aesthetics. To apply this theory, we developed the following methodological steps: (I) documentary research (cartographic becoming in black culture, afro-brazilian literature, poetry written by afro-brazilian women, survey of publishers that publish black authors, mapping of afrobrazilian poets published, and extensive research by the editorial padê). (II) In-depth interview with tatiana nascimento (2019) and (III) final presentation of the cartographic act and analysis of the data collected and presented. In a rhizomatic path that follows the flows constructed through a social cartography in the ways of MartínBarbero (2004), which is established as a theoreticalmethodological perspective stitching aspects of data collection, systematization and research analysis. Aiming to understand the importance of the communicational processes mediated by cultural relations, the poetics of the padê editorial and tatiana nascimento, punctuating the demarcation of affection towards the sensitive universe of poetry, engendering visions of intersectionality, social movements and representativeness signed in processes of identity construction and representation of black culture. As a conclusive way, we hope to understand how the convergence between Arte and Comunicação enabled Tatiana Nascimento's poetics to be configured as a new mediation.Item Arte, arquitetura e cultura: caminhos para a resistência na obra de Lina Bo Bardi e de Hélio Oiticica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-27) Aleixo, Paulo Arthur Silva; Caixeta, Eline Maria Mora Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5246618096427219; Caixeta, Eline Maria Mora Pereira; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Pereira, Maíra TeixeiraIn the vibrant Brazilian cultural production of the 1950s and 1960s, the approximation between the ideals of different fields of expression was common. This was a time when professionals in the arts and architecture were interested in moving out of their narrow spheres, taking a political stand by rethinking cultural production, aiming to strengthen the relationship with the popular strata and change the established situation. However, the 1964 coup d’état, which created a state of tension in the country's politics and culture, frustrated much of this artistic production, forcing the current thinkers to reorganize and rethink their acting strategies in the face of complicated reality established. In this scenario, the names of the Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi (Rome, 1914 - São Paulo, 1992) and the artist Hélio Oiticica (Rio de Janeiro, 1937 - Rio de Janeiro, 1980) are protagonists in the construction of a thought that sought, above all, ways to question the status quo and transform society. Acting in different places - Bo Bardi between Bahia and São Paulo, Oiticica between Rio de Janeiro and New York - and belonging to different generations and fields of production, their trajectories never crossed, despite having a strong affinity of convictions. The interventions of these figures have condensed but also served as a starting point for most of the concerns contained in the reflections of contemporary architects, artists and intellectuals. Thus, the present work seeks to initiate a reflection on the principles and vital interlocutions that Bo Bardi and Oiticica nurtured in the passage from the 1960s to the 1970s, trying to understand how their productions stood as voices of resistance to the established. To this end, it starts from successive approaches, isolating some influential figures and certain activities developed that, placed in the same perspective, can contribute to the image of a potent cultural phenomenon that fought for greater social and political engagement.Item A questão social e as transferências de renda: o programa bolsa família nos municípios goianos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-11-12) Alencar, Diego Pinheiro; Arrais, Tadeu Pereira Alencar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7443664433085838; Arrais, Tadeu Pereira Alencar; Castilho, Dênis; Lima, Leandro Oliveira de; Arriel, Marcos Fernando; Salgado, Tathiana RodriguesThe Bolsa Familia Programme (Programa Bolsa Familia - PBF) is currently the social assistance tool with the largest territorial capillarity in Brazil. The social impact of the program reflects different analytical dimensions, such as the fight against poverty and extreme poverty, income inequality by gender, conditioning to basic services (health and education), among other elements that refers to the social issue. In the economic sphere, it can be observed that the relevance occurs mainly in municipalities with a small demographic pattern and low productive dynamism, commonly dependent on intergovernmental transfers and public administration. The mapping of information regarding social vulnerability points to regional disparities in the Brazilian territory, both at the national and state levels. In Brazil, when comparing the amount of benefits issued and/or population in situations of poverty and extreme poverty, with the estimated population of the municipalities or the values passed on with economic indicators (GDP of Brazil, budget revenues, among others), the cases of the Semiarid Northeast and North of Minas Gerais stand out. In the territory of Goiás, when considering the criteria mentioned above, the Microregions of Vão do Paranã, Chapada dos Veadeiros and Porangatu stand out, which directed the selection of municipalities for sampling the field research, in which the impact that the PBF develops in the retail trade and services sectors were measured. In general, the establishments had a municipal operating radius. Regarding the profile of the clientele, the proportional participation of families living in rural areas in the acquisition of products and services available in the urban perimeter was observed, with women being the main responsible for the acquisitions. In the forms of payment, there are relations that refer to peasant society, such as, for example, the presence of "booklets" in a significant part of the establishments. On the other hand, the presence of computerised payments (credit or debit cards) is rare. The relevance of PBF resources has been constantly denoted in the narratives of local merchants, with, in some cases, "more than 50%" of interference in the collection of the establishment. The research found that the PBF in Brazil is not restricted to the field of social assistance, being characterized as an instrument to stimulate the municipal economy in locations that are not attractive to private and public capital investments. In Goiás territory, in the aforementioned MRs, the relevance of the program as an element of dynamization of the retail trade and services sectors is noticeable.Item Gerenciamento de resultados, custo da dívida e trade off entre as estratégias de gerenciamento: evidências do mercado brasileiro(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-18) Almeida, Gabriel Queiroz de; Diaz, Mario Ernesto Piscoya; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8921949936090276; Carmo, Carlos Henrique Silva do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1859940699823861; Carmo, Carlos Henrique Silva do; Diaz, Mario Ernesto Piscoya; Zanolla, Ercilio; Paulo, EdilsonThe objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between Earnings Management by Real Earnings Management (REM) and by Accruals Earnings Management (AEM) in the cost of debt of Brazilian publicly traded companies, as well as to investigate how debt could impact the trade-off between these same strategies. Searching indications of how the characteristics of each strategy and the ability of creditors to perceive earnings management would impact the cost of debt and how the manager would direct earnings management as a whole, in light of the cost of debt. Hypotheses 1 and 2 were based on the assumption that creditors would perceive the informational asymmetry and the potential risks of the two earnings management strategies, thus there would be a positive association between the strategies and the cost of debt. Hypothesis 3, was developed taking into account the characteristics of each earnings management strategy, the manager would adjust the way in which they are used if pressured by the cost of debt. The study was conducted in a set of Brazilian non-financial publicly traded entities in the period from 2010 to 2018. The management strategies were estimated using the Roychowdhury (2006) models for Real Earnings Management and the Pae (2005) and Jones (1991) models for Accrual Earnings Management. The analysis was performed through the implementation of statistical techniques (univariate, bivariate and multivariate), such as quantile regressions, logit, panel data and GLS. The results indicated for hypotheses 1 and 2 that management trough REM is not perceived in a satisfactory manner and misinterpreted in the case of REM by discretionary expenditures, indicated by the negative association found, which can be explained by a certain lack of sophistication of the brazilian market in perceiving REM, after all, it is considered more difficult to perceive. About the accruals, the sign found was the same found in the literature and according to the established hypothesis, creditors are able to perceive the abnormal movement of accruals and include it in the required compensation. The results of hypothesis 3 indicated that the cost of debt is capable of impacting how managers use earnings management strategies, with a reduction in REM and an increase in AEM the higher the cost of debt is. Estimation through 2SLS was also carried out to resolve any inconsistency related to endogeneity (simultaneity), the results indicated that it is the perception of creditors that drives the association, therefore the manager is not so concerned with debt issues when applying earnings management techniques, thus tending to manage in search of issues related to compensation and the stock market. The results contribute to the research in earnings management and indicates the inability of the corporate debt market to perceive and incorporate REM into debt costs efficiently.Item O pequeno historiador surdo em busca de sentido: reflexões psicanalíticas sobre a constituição psíquica do sujeito surdo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-02-21) Almeida, Marcella de Paula; Lima, Priscilla Melo de Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5233347099900059; Lima, Priscilla Melo de Ribeiro; Carneiro, Thaís Renata Queiroz Santana; Gonçalves, Susie Amâncio de RoureIn the process of writing a child's identifying story, parental figures are essential elements. It is in the relationship with the parents that the first identifications will be metabolized. They will form the basis of representative capital that the small historian will have as an adult. Nevertheless, the quality of this path will have certain specificities if the image of the real baby moves away from the image, fantasized and idealized of a perfect child, built during pregnancy. Specificities that can occur in the birth of a child with deafness. Thus, this research aims to investigate the place that deafness occupies in the psychic constitution of deaf subjects. For this, we used narrative interviews as a method for generating data that provided significant data on subjectivity and historical and socio-cultural aspects. In addition, this research modality constitutes a field of listening and elaboration of life. Five deaf subjects and four caregivers were interviewed, three mothers and a godmother. The analysis of the stories of the participants-narrators showed the state of profound psychological pain arising from the narcissistic wound of having a faulty child, in the eyes of the mothers, and the unconscious attempt to make them appear as close as possible to the fantasized child. This psychic state resulted in the denial of deafness and Sign Language. The small deaf historians were constituted with the mark of a weakened ascension to the activity of thinking and stuck to the desire to be in conformity with the Other's desire. From the narratives and analyzes accomplished, we realize how Psychology and psychoanalysis can constitute themselves as significant means for deaf historians to be able to carry out the transition from being in consonance with the Other's desire for the Deaf Being.Item Aplicação da teoria da propagação do campo magnético na análise da máquina síncrona(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-06-17) Alves, Renato Silva; Alvarenga, Bernardo Pinheiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9850449311607643; Alvarenga, Bernardo Pinheiro de; Paula, Geyverson Teixeira de; Silva, Rui Vagner Rodrigues daThis work presents a methodology of analysis of the smooth poles synchronous machine in steady state using the theory of magnetic field propagation to obtain the V curve for a given active operating power and various operating factors. This theory is based on the division of the synchronous machine into layers and the application of Maxwell’s equations. This methodology is capable of considering magnetic saturation and the anisotropy of electric steel. The predefined current model is used to estimate the radial and tangential flow density of the layer. The results obtained are compared with the Park equations in steady state. For the validation of the methodology, it was a threephase synchronous four-pole smooth generator is used. The results obtained were very promising when compared to the Park equations on a permanent basis.Item Relações de poder e de gênero nos livros didáticos de arte no ensino fundamental(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-06-30) Amorim, Andréa Alcântara Almeida; Abreu, Carla Luzia de; Abreu, Carla Luzia de; Perotto, Lilian Ucker; Cabral, Valéria Fabiane Braga FerreiraThe research Power and Gender relations in Elementary School Art Textbooks has the main objective of investigating how images of textbooks and the relationship of their contents with gender and power issues, in addition to examining how they are received and used. materials by the art teaching professor in public and private school the city of Goiânia, Goiás. Based on the studies of Visual Culture and critical feminist studies of Art History, especially in his assertions about the invisibility of women in the oficial discourses of Art, questions and answers about the possibilities and limits of the textbook to work as gender issues, considering an opinion of a group of teachers and teachers of elementary school. This problematization was guided by the analysis of two collections indicated by the National Plan of Didactic Book (PNLD) in Art of the year 2017, directed to the final years of Elementary School (8th and 9th grade). Interviews were also carried out with a group of collaborating professors and a textbook author, to learn about the perception of these people about these teaching materials. It is expected with this research to problematize how images are selected to appear in textbooks, as well as to reflect about the importance of these materials in educational context, specifically, the Teaching of Art.Item Modificações na metodologia sensorial para obtenção do ideal na técnica check-all-that-apply (cata)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-04) Amorim, Katiúcia Alves; Damiani, Clarissa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8152502284007938; Becker, Fernanda Salamoni; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1469222111928400; Ramirez Asquieri, Eduardo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0488056148950480; Ramirez Asquieri, Eduardo; Damiani, Clarissa; Melo, Adriane Alexandre Machado de; Silva, Jéssyca SantosRapid methods of descriptive sensory analysis are under active exploration in the field of sensory science. Methods such as check-all-that-apply (CATA) are considered a time and costeffective alternative to the conventional descriptive profile for generating sensory product maps. However, key issues for this approach remain unsolved, such as how to identify attributes for the “ideal” product included in CATA after all actual samples are evaluated. Thus, the objective of this study was to verify if, when applying the CATA methodology, the traditional way of identifying attributes for the “ideal” product, at the end of the monadic evaluation of the real products, presents differences in relation to the request of the attributes for the product. “Ideal” at the outset, prior to evaluating the products to be tested and whether or not it would be effective for better identifying desired or unwanted attributes by the consumer. Milk chocolate and whole grape juice were evaluated. Two CATA questionnaires were applied, one in the original format (CATA-F), with a 9-point hedonic scale, presented at the beginning of the evaluation and the attributes for the “ideal” product at the end of the monadic evaluation of the real products. The second model (CATA-I) presented modifications, with the attributes for the “ideal” product presented at the beginning, before the hedonic scale and evaluation of the actual products. There was a slight variation in both CATA methods concerning the description of the evaluated products and for the “ideal” product. For the products under review the differences between the methods were larger for the chocolate. Through the analysis of penalty-rewards, it is concluded, for grape juice, that if the objective of the CATA questionnaire is to obtain a more holistic assessment of the consumer's perception of the product, CATA-I would be the most suitable, with results wider than the ideal product. But, if the objective is to obtain a more specific characterization of the samples under test, the CATA-F would be more appropriate, with more specific results, illustrating that the evaluators tend to be more analytical during the evaluation process. However, it is not possible to conclude this finding for milk chocolate.Item Performance dos digital influencers no Instagram: um estudo sobre identidade e persona(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-04-24) Andrade, Marcilene Barbosa de; Oliveira, Rodrigo Cássio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0545897116631093; Santos, Nádia Maria Weber; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3929583037339642; Santos, Nádia Maria Weber; Oliveira, Rodrigo Cássio; Moraes, Ana Luíza Coiro; Faria, Edna Silva; Satler, Lara LimaThis research analyzes how digital influencers share their daily experiences and interact with their followers through the Instagram platform. The objective of the research is to understand the performances of digital influencers, from the roles they play, in order to increase the number of followers. For this, Lalá Noleto and Jan Mendanha were chosen as the object of research, both digital influencers that stand out on Instagram. As a theoretical basis, this research is supported by the studies of Erving Goffman (2014), Raquel Recuero (2009) and Paula Sibilia (2016) and in some dissertations and theses that deal with social networks and digital influencers. In this study, the notion of the persona is discussed on the Instagram platform under the eyes of the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung. In addition, it seeks to understand the pertinence of the construction of the persona through the creation of content and interaction promoted by digital influencers, which become fundamental for the consolidation of the new digital marketing format. The research also brings a qualitative approach. As a methodological procedure for data collection it was made observations based on interviews conducted with two digital influencers and selection of images and comments displayed on their Instagram accounts.Item Aplicações de espectrometria de massas ambiente em metabolômica clínica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-12-07) Andrade, Thais Pontes Pereira Mendes de; Vaz, Boniek Gontijo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7814534710550639; Vaz, Boniek Gontijo; Chaves, Andrea Rodrigues; Duarte, Gabriela Rodrigues Mendes; Gil, Eric de Souza; Pinto, Mauro Cunha XavierMost clinical biofluids studies are based on plasma/serum and urine, which are more free and representative models of general metabolism. Each of these fluids has a unique matrix, comprising different levels of proteins and metabolites. Therefore, it is important to optimize sample preparation and analytical methods to achieve comprehensive coverage of the analytes present in these samples. In this context, Ambient Mass Spectrometry (AMS) arises, which is a family of desorption and ionization techniques that have revolutionized the way of obtaining ions in mass spectrometry. These techniques share the ability to generate ions in the gas phase directly from untreated samples, reducing or virtually eliminating analyte extraction and prior separation. Substrate Electrospray Ionization are ionization techniques in AMS, which comprise, for example, Paper spray ionization (PSI) and Probe electrospray ionization (PESI). In this study, two analytical approaches are proposed in clinical metabolomics using PSI and, also, the development of a new Substrate Electrospray Ionization. The first approach is the use of a paper coated by a molecularly printed polymer (MIP) as a substrate for PSI in metabolite analysis: dopamine, sarcosine and butyric acid in artificial urine. This new substrate was highly selective for the desired targets, in addition to minimizing the effects of common ion suppression on PSI. In addition, calibration curves with R2> 0.99 and limits of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) in the ppb range were obtained. In addition, success was obtained when using this technique for the analysis of dopamine in a real sample. In the second approach, PSI was combined with a chemometric approach called Interval-successive projections algorithm linear discriminant analysis (iSPA-LDA) to detect lipid biomarkers of cervical cancer using unprepared blood plasma lipids. A total of 86 blood plasma samples from different women were collected, including 37 cancer controls and 49 healthy controls, where 8 lipids were found as possible biomarkers with an overall precision of 77%. The results show the potential of PSI associated with multivariate analysis as a complementary tool for the screening or diagnosis of cervical. It is the application of PSI in plasma samples in a non-targeted lipidic approach, with the objective of discovering biomarkers of cervical cancer. The final approach was to use graphite as a substrate for ESI. The effect of voltage, probe angle and sample volume were evaluated. The ionization capacity of several analytes, including a protein, has also been evaluated, and creatinine quantification tests have been performed on real urine samples. The ESI graphite technique was optimized and obtained excellent ionization of the analytes, not presenting ionic suppression. It was possible to determine the amount of creatinine present in the samples tested and all were within the established limits. In addition, the technique was employed in mouse brain analysis and through these analyzes combined with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) it was possible to differentiate different regions of the brain and separate the samples in male and female. With this, the graphite ESI technique proved very efficient to be used in metabolomic approaches.Item Adição de enzimas em dietas de frangos de corte a base de milho de diferentes qualidades(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-31) Andrade, Tiago Vieira de; Stringhini, José Henrique; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8505634095383289; Café, Marcos Barcellos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9860968235125158; Café, Marcos Barcellos; Mascarenhas, Alessandra Gimenez; Arnhold, Emmanuel; Carvalho, Genilson Bezerra de; Fortes, Bruno Duarte AlvesThe nutritional quality of stored corn grains is of paramount importance to formulate more efficient diets, given that corn grains with low nutritional value, trigger metabolic disturbances and consequently negative effects on the performance and use of nutrients in birds. Thus, the objective was to evaluate the effect of the addition of exogenous enzymes in diets of broilers based on corn kernels of different qualities. with 696 birds of the Cobb 500 strain. In experiments 1 and 3, with the purpose of evaluating performance at 1, 7, 21, 35 and 42 days of age and intestinal histomorphometry at 21 and 42 days of age, 600 chicks were used 1 day old males. In experiments 2 and 4, metabolism assays were carried out with 96 14-day old male chicks from experiment 1 and 3 to estimate the metabolizable energy values of corn of different qualities with the inclusion of exogenous enzymes and mycotoxin adsorbent in diets for broilers. In all experiments, a completely randomized design (DIC) was used, distributed in a factorial arrangement (2x2), with experiment 1 and 2 being the addition or not of the XAP enzyme blend (Xylanase, Amylase and Protease) and two types of corn (types 1 and 3), and for experiment 3 and 4 with or without the addition of mycotoxin adsorbent and with or without the addition of the enzymatic blend. It was observed that the birds that consumed type 1 corn with enzyme had higher average weight and better feed conversion. It was observed that the birds that consumed diets containing enzyme showed better digestibility for the values of EMAn, EMA and CMMS in the period of 17 to 21 days. It was observed that birds that consumed type 1 corn with enzyme showed better intestinal development for height of the jejunum and ileum up to 21 days of age. There was a reduction in uric acid and AST for birds that consumed type 1 corn with enzyme. There was a reduction (p <0.05) in LDH for birds that consumed type 1 corn. There was a higher (p <0.05) average weight for birds that consumed diets containing enzyme and adsorbent in the period from 1 to 7 days . In conclusion, it can be said that birds that consumed type 1 corn with enzyme showed good performance, carcass yield, use of nutrients and intestinal development.Item Mapeamento imunoinformático de regiões conservadas da proteína hexon de adenovírus humano(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-17) Anjos, Déborah Carolina Carvalho dos; Souza, Menira Borges de Lima Dias e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0054562567103606; Souza, Menira Borges de Lima Dias e; Fonseca, Simone Gonçalves da; Gardinassi, Luiz Gustavo AraújoHuman Adenoviruses (HAdVs) are important infectious agents associated with high incidence, morbidity and mortality in immunocompromised patients, such as those undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation (allo-TCPH). HAdVs belong to the family Adenoviridae, genus Mastadenovirus, and further classified into seven species (A-G) and 103 genotypes, characterized so far. The HAdV capsid consists mainly of the hexon protein, which has four highly conserved regions (CR1 - 4) that are known for their immunogenic potential, being one of the main targets of the T and B cell-mediated anti-HAdV immune response. The aim of the present study was to perform the mapping of potentially immunogenic epitopes, located in the HAdV hexon CRs and to evaluate the HAdV infection in patients undergoing allo-TCPH. To this end, predictions of T and B cell epitopes and IFN-γ induction were performed, considering 101 HAdV genotypes with sequences available in databases. The most conserved and best classified epitopes were then selected by the prediction programs to perform the molecular docking analysis with HLA alleles of the study population, consisting of nine adult patients undergoing allo-TCPH. It was also carried out the HAdV research by TaqMan real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) in the patient's serum samples. As a result, regions containing overlapping T and B cell epitopes were obtained and, based on immunoinformatics analysis (prediction and molecular docking), two peptides with high conservation and immunogenic potential were designed. Nine patients were positive for HAdV by qPCR TaqMan, with the average viral load found in the serum samples of the study population being 6.71x1011 CG / mL. The genomic sequencing of the positive samples returned sequences that showed 100% similarity with sequences of the HAdV C hexon protein, deposited in a database. The present study allowed the mapping of the main immunogenic regions located in the CRs of the HAdV hexon, as well as the construction of two peptides that will be used in future studies to evaluate the immune response of patients undergoing allo-TCPH, participating in the present study.Item Alternativas tecnológicas para aumentar a biodisponibilidade de anti-inflamatórios: gel mucoadesivo termorreversível e aplicação de sílica mesoporosa para amorfização(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-20) Antonino, Rayane Santa Cruz Martins de Queiroz; Nascimento, Thais Leite; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4065607913504134; Lima, Eliana Martins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7248774319455970; Lima, Eliana Martins; Alonso, Christian Gonçalves; Gil, Eric de Souza; Silva, Luís Antônio Dantas; Brito, Wesley de AlmeidaImproving the therapeutic response of drugs is one of the major goals of pharmaceutical technology. This large area of research and development uses multidisciplinary technologies and knowledge aimed at optimizing drug delivery systems. It seeks, for example, to reduce side effects with the application of nanoparticulate systems (Chung et al., 2019), to improve the reach of drugs in the central nervous system (CNS) through new delivery and administration systems (Qureshi et al., 2019), increase the delivery and therapeutic action of drugs by promoting longer drug contact time at the site of action, such as the development of mucoadhesive formulations for the treatment of inflamed mucous membranes (Léber et al., 2019). It also seeks to increase the bioavailability of drugs with low aqueous solubility by obtaining the amorphous form of the drug either through porous adsorbent systems, such as mesoporous silicas, but also to increase the stability of the amorphous form in relation to the storage time (Zůza et al., 2019). The search for better therapeutic efficacy of drugs was the main motivation for this research, using different technologies for the development of formulations with different therapeutic objectives and targets. The first part of this research aimed to develop a mucoadhesive in situ thermoreversible gel, capturing a corticosteroid for the treatment of mucous regions with inflammation. This first part produced three scientific publications that are organized as the first two chapters of this document and an annex. The second part of the research aimed to investigate the adsorbent role of mesoporous silica in two different drugs in terms of the tendency to crystallization, aiming beyond bioavailability to increase the physical stability of the systems and the impact of the drugs on the storage of the systems. Through the development of this study, a scientific article was produced presented in the third and last chapter of this document. In summary, the research developed during the PhD period is organized in two parts, in which: Chapter 01 - This chapter has mucoadhesion as its central theme, and constitutes a review of the literature published as a chapter in the book “Sciences applied to health products”, by the publisher of the State University of Goiás in 2019, ISBN 978-85-5582- 060-1 (annex 3). Strategies for the development of new mucoadhesive pharmaceutical forms, mucus and its function in the human body, the theories that analyze mucoadhesion, the mucoadhesive formulations already available and the techniques and assays used to quantify mucoadhesion were covered in this chapter. Chapter 02 - In this chapter we describe the development and characterization in vitro / in vivo of a mucoadhesive in situ gelling formulation using poloxamer 407 (Pluronic® F 127), a thermoreversible polymer, capturing budesonide (BUD), a potent corticosteroid used for treatment of a wide range of inflammatory diseases, including those that affect mucous membranes, such as in the gastrointestinal tract. This chapter was published in 2019 as an original article in the Journal of Controlled Release, entitled Thermoreversible mucoadhesive polymer-drug dispersion for sustained local delivery of budesonide to treat inflammatory disorders of the GI tract (appendix 4). The term with the approval by the ethics committee for the use of animals is attached (annex 1). Another publication, referring to oral pharmaceutical compositions of corticosteroids that gel in situ, was the production of a patent (annex 2). Patent filed and published at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, with international application under Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), WO 2018/193423 A1, 2018. This patent is the result of a partnership between the University and a pharmaceutical industry, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, established for the development of mucoadhesive pharmaceutical formulations. In turn, depending on the second part, which deals with technologies aimed at optimizing bioavailability and promoting greater stability using porous adsorbent systems, we have chapter 3. Chapter 03 - In this chapter, a method has been described to determine the monolayer loading capacity (MLC) of naproxen, a weak drug to amorphize, in mesoporous silica (MS). MS can be used as a carrier to stabilize the amorphous form of a drug. In addition, the impact of monolayer, pore filling and excess, on the physical stability of this system was studied and compared to ibuprofen, a strong drug to amorphize. Finally, we investigated the impact of drug loading on storage below and above the glass transition temperature (Tg), in particular with a focus on the amorphous (in) stability of the confined drug, for both drugs. Using Theoretical Functional Density Theory (DFT) and Molecular Dynamics ab initio (AIMD), the binding energies for the monolayer suggest that the monolayer is thermodynamically more favorable than the crystalline form, while the confined amorphous form is thermodynamically less favorable. This chapter was published as an original article in the International Journal of Pharmaceutics: X, in 2019 (Annex 5).Item Interpretações históricas do Brasil e as origens da área de ensino de Ciências brasileira(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-06-10) Araujo, Kauara Kamila Souza; Genovese, Luiz Gonzaga Roversi; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6558932652149049; Genovese, Luiz Gonzaga Roversi; Megid Neto, Jorge; Carvalho, Julio Cesar Queiroz deGiven the perception of the internalist trend of the historiography of the Brazilian Science Education area and the lack of dialogue with the history of Brazil, this research aimed to establish relations between the Brazilian national historiography, worked by Jessé Souza, with the historiography of the area of Brazilian Science Education found in specialized literature. In his works, the theoretical reference of this research, Jessé Souza, analyzes the historical interpretations of Brazil. Interpretations, in the plural, because in Jessé Souza's work two interpretations of the history of Brazil are exposed. The first interpretation seeks our origins in a remote past of Portuguese society and identifies, as the origin of our ills, a supposed backwardness of the country and, mainly, of the State. This first interpretation has between its representatives Sérgio Buarque de Holanda and Raymundo Faoro and is called patrimonialist, because, according to it, our society and our State are corrupt, personalist and patrimonialist. The second interpretation is proposed by Jessé Souza based on the works of other great national interpreters such as Gilberto Freyre and Florestan Fernandes. This second interpretation identifies our origins in slavery and perceives exclusion and social inequality as being our greatest ills. In order to dialogue with national history, we have selected some texts available in the specialized literature that deal with the history of the Brazilian Science Education area and which are repeatedly cited in the area to deal with their history. Through a qualitative approach and after several joint readings of the selected texts for analysis and the theoretical reference, five categories were created that relate the history of the area and the historical interpretations of Brazil addressed by the work of Jessé souza. The first category relates the theory of modernization, closely linked to the patrimonialist interpretation of Brazil, with the financial aid from international and North American agencies for the production of didactic materials and the training of teachers recurrently mentioned in the history of Science Education. The second category relates the aspiration of national modernization promoted by the patrimonialist historiographic line with Science Education in Brazil. The third category deals with the “São Paulo myth” or São Paulo exceptionality defended by the patrimonialist interpretation of the country and the incentives for the emergence of the area in that state. The fourth category relates some decisive moments for the area with the anti-popular pact made by the elite with the Brazilian middle class. Finally, the fifth category relates the military dictatorship's attempts to acquire legitimacy with the large investments in the scientific field made by the military that were decisive for the consolidation of the Science Education area in Brazil. Reflections supported by the referred categories point out that the history of the area presented in the analyzed literature has links with the patrimonialist interpretation of Brazil that underrates the slave-based aspects of our history and covers up our brutal and current social inequality. Lastly, it is made one suggestion for the Brazilian Science Education area: a greater intellectual involvement with the issues of inequality and social exclusion in BrazilItem Estudo de coorte sobre o uso de medicamentos potencialmente inapropriados em idosos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-02-21) Araújo, Natacha Christina de; Pagotto, Valéria; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9865313041988933; Pagotto, Valéria; Silva, Ana Elisa Bauer de Camargo; Modesto, Ana Carolina FigueiredoINTRODUCTION: Population ageing is accompanied by an increase in chronic diseases and use of medicines. Although pharmacological therapy plays an important role in disease control, some drugs are classified as Potentially Inappropriate Medicines (PIM), creating new challenges for the elderly, their families andhealth services.OBJECTIVE: To analyze the evolution, incidence and mortality of elderly people using Potentially Inappropriate Medicines (PIM) in a decade-long cohort study. METHOD: Prospective cohort epidemiological study, with a ten-year follow-up period, carried out in Goiânia, with an initial sample (baseline) of 418 elderly people in 2008. A home interview was conducted, using a standardized questionnaire including socioeconomic, demographic, living conditions and healthvariables. Information was collected on the active ingredient, dosage, route and schedule of the drugs. PIM were classified according to theAmerican Geriatrics Society Beers Criteria. The analyses were performed withSTATA 15.0. To analyze the factors associated with the incidence of PIM usage, a generalized linear model was constructed, and presented as Adjusted Relative Risk (aRR). In order to analyze the evolution of PIM usage, a longitudinal analysis was performed using Generalized Estimating Equations models. Finally, the mortality rate was calculated, as well as the effect of refusals and 6%loss from follow-up, totaling 221 included in the year 2018. The mean age was 79.1 years (± 5.8); 67.4% were women; 21.2% rated their health as poor or very poor, 24.4% were hospitalized in the last year and 69.2% presented more than three diseases. In 2008, the mean number of drugs used was 3.3 (± 2.6); while in 2018 the mean was 8.0 (± 5.1). In 2008, the PIM most frequently consumed were in this order: nifedipine, glibenclamide and sodium diclofenac. In 2018, the mostfrequently consumed were: sodium diclofenac, amiodarone and scopolamine. The incidence of PIM use in the sample of the elderly cohort was 44.1 cases (95% CI: 35.2-54.7) per 1,000 person-years (56 incident cases/1,270 person-years). Multiple regression revealed that the incidence of PIM use was statistically associated with polypharmacy (aRR: 3.00; 95% CI: 1.31-6.88) and diabetes mellitus (aRR: 1.57; 95% CI: 1.03-2.39). In the longitudinal analysis, elderly people with a history of hospitalization (RTaj: 1.20; 95% CI: 1.01-1.40), with three or more morbidities (RTaj: 1.41; 95% CI: 1.14- 1.74), using polypharmacy aRR(RTaj: 1.81; 95% CI: 1.47-2.24) and diagnosed with diabetes mellitus (PIM on the survival of the elderly, using Cox proportional regression analysis, presented as Adjusted Hazard Ratio (aHR). The study was approved by HC/UFG ethics committee.RESULTS: From a total of 418 elderly followed up, 34.9% died, there were¨6% RTaj: 1.24; 95% CI: 1.05-1, 47) had a higher rate of PIM usage over the ten years. The overall mortality rate in the group that used PIM at the baseline was 46.3 deaths (70/1,513 person-years) and in the unexposed group it was 37.7 deaths (75/1,992 person-years). In the Cox regression analysis adjusted according to age, sex, economic class, polypharmacy and use of PIM, no statistical association was observed between survival of the elderly in the cohort and use of PIM in the adjusted analysis (aHR: 1.02; 95% CI: 0.69-1.51). CONCLUSION: This research indicated that the incidence of PIM usage in the elderly is high, and polypharmacy and Diabetes Mellitus are factors that increase both the incidence and the rate of use. Although PIM usage has not decreased, the survival of the elderly and the association of polypharmacy with mortality show that the use of medications in the elderly should be continuously monitored. The results are a warning to prescribers and health professionals regarding the rational use of medicines in the elderly population, in order to prevent adverse reactions and other health problems. Furthermore, they signal the need to review the type of drugs used and to monitor their use at all levels of health care and especially primary care.Item Metamorfoseando a vida: a escrita autobiográfica de Herculine/Abel Barbin (1838-1868)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-03-20) Araujo, Patrícia Simone de; Magalhães, Sônia Maria de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8841367325340262; Magalhães, Sônia Maria de; Soares, Ana Carolina Eiras Coelho; Pereira, Robson Mendonça; Silva, Leicy Francisca da; Abreu, Jean Luiz NevesThis research intention to analyze the autobiographical memories of Herculine/ Abel Barbin (1838-1868). The history of this personality draws attention for being born as a hemaphrodite inthe middle of France, in the middle of the 19 th century. In this sense, the central objective of this investigation is to examine how she or him interpreted her body and sexuality through intimate writing in face of the moral and medical concepts of her time. For this, the autobiographical method was used, mainly drinking inthe contributions of Loriga (2011), Dosse (2009), Vilas-Boas (2014) and Lejune (2008). In addition, to reflect on the issue of the body from the perspective of the normal dichotomy versus pathological, the contributions of Canguilhem (2009) and Foucault. To portray the hermaphrodite’s conceptions, the studies by Leite Júnior (2011) and Dreger (1998) were fundamental.Regarding the issue of sex, gender and sexualities, it is mostly supported by the studies of Laqueur (2001) , Foucault (1998) and Butler. Whit this theoretical contribution as a subsidy, it was observed that Barbin expressed an interpretative originality in relation to the pejorative vision that his era him, destabilizing the stage of certainties created by western societies about sex and sexuality. He decided to reconstruct himself by meand of a narrative identity unrelated to the deem of blame, but linked to an unjust person. It subvert the ignoble conception that the social had on this body, absent himself from any condemnation. For she or him, the big mistake was in the social standars formulated about sex and sexuality, and not in her or him. Thus, Barbin, through his text, made it possible to envision a being marked not only by pain, but above all, a courageous person who did not sumit to the standards of his time in the way of conceiving his body and place in the world, having thus, in his writing, a way to challenge the rules and morality in force at the time.Item Homicídios contra a juventude negra na região metropolitana de Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-10-29) Araújo, Rárea Géssica Porto; Oliveira, Dijaci David de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9145111011143886; Oliveira, Dijaci David de; Bungenstab, Gabriel Carvalho; Durães, Telma Ferreira do NascimentoThe reality of a black person in Brazil is still full of discrimination and prejudice. So far, the national discourse of "Racial Harmony" is a myth and it hasn't been part of the population's reality. Nowadays, the increase of homicidal violence spreads the feeling of insecurity and fear on the population in general. But that increase is not the same for all and it has its effects more on young black people. This work discuss about racial relationships, homicides of black youth and racism on Região Metropolitana de Goiânia (RMG). The main goal is to try to understand why does this homicides focus more on black youth than white youth. Despite social and economic progress, between 2006 and 2016 the numbers has increased and in general, black youth is the greatest victim of the homicides that happens on RMG and in Brazil. In fact, the contemporary context of black lives indicates the persistence of social inequality that really affects black lives, leading to dramatic social consequences such as racial disparities seen on statistical data, on observations of racial relationships from the field of study and in the analysis about violence in Brazil. The numbers of homicides of young, black male on RMG can be considered as the reflex and reproduction of racism that leads to inequality and make them appear natural. By the side of other vulnerabilities from the black population such as disparity of income distribution, education and work, racism contributes to the vulnerability of this people to violence, the lack of identity and territory and also to the reproduction of institutionalized practices of racial discrimination against young black people who are more targeted by homicides
