Resumo

This paper work discusses how the Physical Education is influenced by the Pragmatism and by the Culture Industry in modernity. It based in how this context interferes in the teacher s action. The theoretical reference adopted the theory critical, especially form Adorno. The research shows that the Physical Education and its teachers have been pushed to search immediate results, which attend the capital interests, based on what is established by the Culture Industry, although, it points also possibilities of transformation by the teacher s action
