O ensino de Ciências e a abordagem CTS na proposta político-pedagógica de Goiânia para a educação de jovens e adultos

Resumo

The Approach STS has been advocated as an alternative facilitator of Literacy Scientific-Technological front to the problems faced by the Science Teaching. In this context, the guidelines for Science Teaching contained in Political-Pedagogical Proposal of Youth and Adult Education, in the city of Goiânia Goiás was analyzed with the purpose to verify whether and how the same contemplates the Approach STS. The methodological approach was developed along the lines of Documentary Research. For the construction of the data was used to Content Analysis, which allowed the preparation of five categories: Education, School, Science Teaching, Educational Action and Student. The interpretation of these categories has allowed us to see that the methodological, political and ethical issues contained in politicalpedagogical proposal of Goiânia are consistent with the Approach STS, unlike the epistemological aspect. The discussion of the results obtained enable us to make notes concerning the Initial and Continuous Training of Teachers; the importance of Science Teaching through the Approach STS in Young people and Adult Education; as well as the reflections necessary for the insertion of the Approach STS in the Brazilian educational context.
