Resumo

This work is part of the research theme Fundamentals of Educational Processes of the Graduate Program in Education of the Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Goiás (PPGE/FE/UFG) and aims to investigate the proposal of the Municipal Center for Inclusion Support (Cmai) of the Municipal Department of Education and Sport (SME) of Goiânia regarding the care of students identified with learning difficulties. This is a documentary research based on an exploratory features on social inequalities, common in antagonistic class society and their impacts on school (PATTO, 2015), on the complaint and processes of school medicalization (PROENÇA, 2002; SOUZA, 1996; MOYSÉS, COLLARES, 2010). Political pedagogical projects of the Cmai were analyzed in order to identify their purposes, structure, assistance fields, students who are assisted and their main special educational needs. The results indicate that the learning difficulties inherent to the process of appropriation of knowledge, expressing a moment of the subject's relationship with what is unknown to him, therefore, common to the student who is still learning, these difficulties are explained through biologizing theoretical. The school tends to be replaced while facing the learning difficulties by external interventions from the health field.
