Resumo

This paper investigated how the playful approach and musicality in reading poetry and songs can foster the reader's development process in a third grade class of elementary school in the municipal education system. To this end, we used poems from the book Ou isto ou aquilo by Cecília Meireles and songs from The Book of Musical Jokes by Palavra Cantada, the CD Canções Curiosas, track eleven (1995), and the CD Pé com pé, volume nine, track nine (2006). The poems and songs approached encourage critical reading based on stylistic elements such as word games, puns, and ironies. Such resources provide for the development of the reader, his sensitivity, and aesthetic appreciation. Besides expanding the dialogue and reading reflection, the participants were able to relate their knowledge of the world in the collective construction of the effects of text meaning and share their understanding of reality and, thus, establish the dialogical process as proposed by Bakhtin. The theoretical assumptions of this research-action are anchored in Bakhtin's dialogic (2016), in the humanizing function of literature, proposed by Candido (1995), in the ludic approach, according to Huizinga (2018), and the children's literarute, from Cecília Meireles (1979), Coelho (2000), among others. From a qualitative approach, a discussion was made with the children during the classes of the Portuguese Language and/or Art components and analysis of audios recorded with the children during these classes, in addition to the observation of the participants' reading development, from the reading of poetry and songs. As a result of the dissertation, and fulfilling the requirement of Resolution PPGEEB/CEPAE Nº 001/2019, we present the Educational Product of this research-action, which falls into the product development category, originating an educational media, with the webpage: TEAR TEXTO - Tecer ideias, Experienciar, Apreciar e Realizar novas leituras, aimed at academia, teachers of Basic Education and researchers as a support for new research. This dissertation is linked to the Stricto Sensu Professional Master's Course of the Graduate Program in Teaching in Basic Education of the Center for Teaching and Applied Research in Education (CEPAE) of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG).
