Resumo
The present study, outlined by qualitative research, based on dialectical
historical materialism, aims to understand the determinants of the child's
teaching, development and instruction processes, wich are methodological
action guides in the educational practice of Early Childhood Education, and
seeks to apprehend the insertion of the field of Physical Education and its
possibilities of contribution to the area. For that, we start from the Historical
Cultural Theory when we raise the thesis that the pedagogical practice, in the
scope of the methodology and the use of mediating activities in the teaching
process and selection of contents in Early Childhood Education, is displaced
from the instruction and development of the child. By abstracting the
categories work, State, family, woman, race and child, the research seeks to
situate Physical Education and its role in Early Childhood Education as a
prerogative for the expanded formation and complexification of children's
rights, dimensioning the historical, legal and formative forms of corporeality,
as well as its relevance and validity in child development and instruction,
which led us to the analysis of some documents that organize Early Childhood
Education in Brazil, such as the RCNEI, DCNEI, BNCC, among others, and
allowed us to point out that the Religious, eugenic and gender aspects still
remain ingrained as main elements in the legal consolidations that govern the
institution of Early Childhood Education.
