Resumo

This research is part of the research line “Fundamentals of Educational Processes”, of the Graduate Program in Education of the Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Goiás and was funded by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). The general objective of the study is to analyze the constitutive mediations of the digital influencer as an emblem of the cultural industry; therefore, it considers, based on Marx, Freud, and Adorno, sociability and the constitution of the subject; the mode of production and the rationality of capital; social networks as a means of interaction nowadays; the cultural industry and the resonances of the digital influencer as a fascist agitator. With that scope and based on Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer, a bibliographical study was conducted, followed by the observation in the Instagram social network of four digital influencers, namely: Carlinhos Maia, Gessica Kayane, Virgínia, and Lucas Rangel, in the period from November 11 to December 11, 2021. The influencers were chosen by the number of followers and the amplitude of content that was later systematized in spreadsheets organized by theme. In order to summarize the research, this dissertation is organized, besides the introductory section, the conclusion, references, and appendix, in three chapters: the first presents the constitution of the social being; the second concentrates on understanding the cultural industry, and the third analyzes the digital influencer. From the study it was possible to see some trends that refer to the cultural industry, with the main elements being identification, promise of achievement, and repetition.
