Resumo
The present study identifies and understands how the practice of theatrical games, carried out based on the principles established by the North American director and author Viola Spolin (1906-1994), can enhance the social, behavioral, cognitive and affective experiences of students with Neurobiological Disorder of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The practice of theatrical games has demonstrated the ability to deepen individual experiences, adapt social behavior, encourage interaction, as well as enhance and deepen cognitive, social and affective experiences. From this perspective, how to structure or adapt these possibilities, establishing practices aimed at students with this neurological condition? This qualitative study is based on a theoretical foundation developed by the professor, psychiatrist and researcher at the Department of Psychiatry at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, in the United States of America (USA), Doctor Russell Alan Barkley (1949-), one of the central figures in research into ADHD, and the concept of social interactions, from the writings of the Belarusian psychologist Lev Seminovitch Vygotski (1896-1934), an important reflection on the relationship between social development and the forms of cognitive development. Finally, this study is guided by practices developed by me in the public school of Goiânia, state of Goiás, during the years 2021 to 2024.
