Resumo

This dissertation belongs to the line of research Educational Process Fundamentals and proposes to reflect on how the Child Education teacher's authority is demanded in class. The relationship between education and authority is understood in this study from the perspective of psychoanalysis. Observations of children in interaction with theirs teachers were made in Early Childhood Education classroom. Based on psychoanalysis does not lend itself to an immediate application to the school situation, the work highlights the contributions of psychoanalysis to the understanding of the question of the authority in early childhood education, starting with the recognition of unconscious processes that are in the child-adult relationship.
