Resumo

This doctoral thesis presents an examination of receipt of poetry, illustration and paratextualidade. In light of the aesthetics of reception, established by Hans Robert Jauss‟ theoretical (1979 ) and Wolfgang Iser‟s (1979 ), Semiotics, Charles Sanders Peirce‟s (2010 ) and Semiotics Umberto Eco‟s ( 1971-2007 ), it was established to reception lyric poetry Manoel de Barros , the reception of the poet as the painting Joan Miró‟s (1924) and Paul Klee‟s (1922), receiving his lyric by illustrators Ana Raquel Máximo, Martha Barros, Ziraldo Alves Pinto, and the reception of the poet for prefaciadores, convergence between poetry and design, as well as the interdependence at the reception of the poet from of headings, titles, pretexts, afterwords and other paratexts that complement the work Manoel de Barros‟ [Poemas concebidos em pecado] Poems conceived without sin ( 1937) [Escritos em verbal de ave] Writings on the verbal bird (2011 ) . The relationship between verbal and non - verbal language will be provided to the reader as an analysis project interart, intersemiotic and intertextual . Scrutinizes the role of illustrator at the reception the poetry Manoel de Barros‟ aimed at children and the convergences and divergences of physical images with poetic image (PAZ, 1986). For this purpose, the thesis also is anchored in the works [Para ler o livro ilustrado] To view the illustrated book Sophie Van der Linden‟s (2011) and those [Pelos jardins de boboli: a arte de ilustrar livros para crianças e jovens] Boboli gardens: the art of illustrating books for children and young people, Rui de Oliveira‟s (2008) and homology between poetry and painting Gotthold Ephraim Lessing‟s promulgated (1998). For the interpretation of all the lyrical poetry Barros‟, was established as the backbone of research on the author's intention, the intention of the reader and the intention of the text.
