Resumo
This paper discusses the construction of the memory of women who fought against the military
dictatorship of 1964, having as a conductor axis the memory of Mary Augusta Thomas, who was a
philosophy student at PUC-SP and MOLIPO member. She was killed in 1973 and her remains are
still missing to this day. Here, I question whether the gender binaries influence or not the
construction of the memory of Maria Augusta Thomaz and other women present in this research.
