Resumo
This dissertation aims to establish potential links between the work of John Rawls and Brazilian constitutionalism, especially the chapter of the Federal Constitution which deals Agricultural Policy and Land Reform. Aims to find in the theory of John Rawls the foundations for an approach to the fundamentals of Brazilian agrarian theme, since the reform of the agrarian structure in the field is designed by Brazil's Constitution of 1988, as one of the most important issues of their programmatic agenda. Under the constitution, the legal regime of the land is based on the perspective of the social function of property, in through all productive wealth has social and economic purpose. We tried to present
summarize the key concepts of the Rawlsian theory, and then make a link between the potential of these to understand the Brazilian agrarian theme, in particular from the concept developed by Ralws primary social goods. At the end aims to presents an analysis of the Brazilian agrarian reform emphasizing the aspect of social justice contained in the Brazilian Constitution.
