Resumo

The growing process of conversion of native vegetation to anthropic uses observed in the north and northeast of Goiás has represented increased pressure on natural resources and ecosystem processes. The Tocantinzinho River Basin which covers important priority areas for conservation of the Cerrado, is part of this scenario. In this sense, the present research had as objective to analyze the effects of the relation society and nature in the watershed landscape, between 1985 and 2016. The structural focus was highlighted in research by allowing, through analysis of the composition and configuration, the recognition of interactions between components of landscapes. The analysis of structures with physiognomic and functional similarities, as a function of the interaction between the physical and natural components, was analyzed from the execution of the organization and inventory, analysis and diagnosis steps that allowed the cartographic compartmentation of 20 geoecological units that were grouped according to geomorphological characteristics. The anthropogenic interference was analyzed through changes in the landscape structure, composed of geo-ecosystemic units, in the years 1985, 1995, 2005 and 2016. For that, satellite images (LANDSAT) of these years were classified and indexes descriptors of the landscape were applied to coverage and land use maps, allowing a spatial comparison in historical succession for the basin area and, later, for the area of the groups of the geoecological units. The results indicate that the replacement of native vegetation patches by anthropic patches has mainly affected the grassland formation, between 2005 and 2016, in the geoecological units with characteristics of the physical environment preferential to agribusiness. The associated analysis of the geoecological and geo-ecosystemic units allowed identifying important land use patterns to define potential areas for the application of strategies for the connectivity of native vegetation patches and also for economic development.
