Avaliação de três diferentes sanitizantes em viveiros de piscicultura pela contagem de bactérias do gênero aeromonas

Resumo

Three different disinfectants – oxide of calcium, formaldehyde and biguanide polymeric – were appraised with relationship to the effectiveness in the disinfection of ponds, during the sanitary emptiness, in the station of the Section of Fish Farming of the Veterinary School of the Federal University of Goias, in the period from October 1999 to March 2000. Four treatments – T1-control; T2-oxide of calcium 100g/m2; T3-formaldehyde 5%; T4-biguanide polymeric 1% – and three replicates were analyzed as a completely randomized design. The cultivated specie was the pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus) being each pond with 67 fish. The effectiveness of the disinfectants was evaluated through accomplished bacteriological analyses, in the laboratory of the Food Research Center of the Veterinary School of the Federal University of Goias, in bottom sediment of the ponds and water samples. It was counted bacteria of the genus Aeromonas. Differences were observed differences (P<0,05), in relation of the effectiveness of treatments, just in the count of Aeromonas in the water, but in the period 2, with better acting of biguanide polymeric. The count of bacteria of the genus Aeromonas in sediment and water showed lower than 103 UFC/ml. Among the means used in the selective phase for Aeromonas, the agars soy tripticase and starch ampicilin presented better performance.
