Resumo
The treatment of bovine cutaneous papillomatosis
was evaluated in dairy cattle raised in different farms
around Goiânia, Goias, Brazil. One-hundred and twenty
animals were divided into six groups, and five of them were
used to test different treatments and the remaining was
kept as a control. The treatments utilized were
autohaemotherapy, chlorobutanol, diminazene, levamisole
and autogenous vaccine. All groups were treated weekly,
during four consecutive weeks. Three different statistical
tests were used to compare the results. The treatments did
not show significative difference when used in pedunculated
papillomas, on the other hand chlorobutanol and diminazene
were more efficient in plan papillomas.
