Diagnóstico da freqüência da brucelose bovina em vacas em lactação na bacia leiteira de Goiânia pelas provas do anel do leite e rosa bengala

Resumo

In order to verify the occurrence of bovine brucelosis in cows in nursing from Goiânia dairy belt and to evaluate the behavoir of the tests ring and rose bengal in diagnosis of the disease, milk sample were colletected from 106 milk pots and blood samples were drawn from 870 nursing cows in 45 farms located in a 100 Km distance from Goiânia Goiás Brazil. The milk samples were analyzed by the ring test and the blood serum were tested by rose bengal test in order to detect brucelosis antibodies. The result by the ring test was 11,11% for farms and 5,66% for milk samples while the rose bengal test showed 1,72 % of positive animals and 17,78% of farms with infected animals. The tests were evaluated by the c2 test and it was observed that there was no statitical difference betweem them (p>0,05). There was accordance of 80% between the tests.
