Efeito do tipo de captura dos frangos de corte sobre a qualidade da carcaça

Resumo

This research was carried out to evaluate the influence of broiler catching on contusions and fracture in the carcass that was observed at the slaughter. Two kinds of catching were tested, by back and by the neck, in broilers at the 45 days of age. The results were analyzed by Qui square test using a 2 x 2 table of contingency. The results indicated that the number of contusions and fractures were higher in the flocks were the catching of broilers was accomplished by the neck.
