Resumo
This study proposes that gJobalization is not a scientific concept
but is an ideology that results from capitalism strllctural crisis.
The World Bank is responsible, most of the time, for its
broadcasting, imposing premises by structural adjustment. The
arguments that tries to jl1stify globalization as a concept are
denied. The capitalism prodl1ces polarization between central
and peripherícal countries, a process that divides world labor.
Therefore, on peripherical countries, vocational education has
its scientific basis loosing significance.
