Avaliação histológica e ultra-estrutural de tendões de bovinos preservados em diferentes meios

Resumo

In order to evaluate the influence of five differents products preservation of the biological tissues, 30 fragments from the tendon of the superficial flexor muscle toes on bovines, were divided into six groups with the same number. The product used were solution of polivinil-pirolidone 0,5% (I), 300% supersaturated sugar solution (II), glycerin 98% (III), solution of glutaraldehyde 0,5% (IV) and frozen at lers than 16°C. The group VI was processed for control with no kind of treatment. The groups I, II, III, IV and V were preserved for 70 days and were further rehidrated for 24 hours in physiological solution 0,9%. The histology analysis did not show any degeneratIVE alterations, but it detected different degrees of dehydratation due to the preservations. The ultrastructural analysis allowed an evaluation of the collection collagen fibril and the integrity of the fibrocytEs. The preservation by the solution of glutaraldehyde 0,5% and rehidration in physiological solution 0,9% showed more appropriated to conservation of the histological features and ultrastructural of the tendons analysis.
