Resumo
The bull's genital tract may be affected by diseases that result in impotence coeundi,
leading to a decrease in reproductive efficiency and resulting loss in production system.
In addition, certain anatomical features that predispose cattle breeds, added to the
negligence and handling poor health, in many cases prevents the bull for breeding
purposes. Thus, this study aimed to establish the relationship between the
morphological and the diseases more frequently observed in the prepuce and penis of
male cattle. It should be noted however that questions still remain, making clear the
importance of scientific studies.
