A prática da interdisciplinaridade na formação inicial de professores de ciências e matemática: do discurso à prática

Resumo

This study aims to introduce to students the group work proposals and involve them in activities in such way that they plan their lectures and other pedagogic activities, under an interdisciplinary perspective. The issue of effectively inserting interdisciplinarity in teaching of chemistry, physics, biology and mathematics, led a group of university professors to form a group of studies in mathematics and science teaching with the purpose of working together to overcome the fragmentation of knowledge in the training of teachers of basic education. The study was characterized as an action research, in which the construction process is presented as a strategy for the development of teachers and scientists, allowing them to use their research results to improve teaching and hence student learning. Results showed that to form students with a critical and realistic understanding of the world we must train them in that direction and it should start in College. Therefore, with its transformative aspect, the practice in interdisciplinary in bachelor courses, can foster the emergence of a new pedagogical stance.
