This development causes changes in the quality of grains, which therefore represents a major challenge in the swine chain, is necessary as a first step of removing the contaminated food and the use of subsequent treatments of cereals. For use in the manufacture of feed grains is of great value to standardize the acceptance limits of mycotoxins and other aspects of quality of products between countries, both for import, export as. Objective of this work is to review literature on the problems caused by the presence of mycotoxins in grains and processed diets, prevention and reduction of these, addressing methods for its removal or decontamination, agricultural practices that prevent contamination and the development of fungi, show quality testing to ensure satisfactory raw material for the manufacture of good feed for animals.
