Uso de diferentes fontes de lipídios e níveis de energia digestível sobre parâmetros testiculares de suínos machos a partir dos 60 kg

Abstract

This experiment was carried out to study the lipidic sources (coconut oil and soybean oil) and digestible energy levels (3350, 3450, 3550 e 3650kcal de DE/kg of ration effect on swine reproductive performance. It was used 60kg boars distributed in different treatments. The boars were divided in a randomized block experimental design. The DE levels affected the testicles diameter, length, weight and volume; the seminiferous epithelial thickness (SET) and 140 days seminiferous tubules diameter (STD) were also affected, when coconut oil was used. The STD was increased in a linear way when soybean oil was used. The coconut oil at 4499 and 3492kcal of DE level provided the higher results for STD and SET.
