Resumo
This work aims to investigate African womanism and its relationship with the concept of escrevivência by Conceição Evaristo in the works “Becos da Memória'' (2017) and "Ponciá Vicêncio'' (2017). The transatlantic kidnapping, with enslavement, promoted one of the greatest barbarities of history and today represents the ontological fragmentation of African peoples who had to reinvent a new way of life in Afro-diasporic territory. Based on critical psychoanalysis with Neusa Souza (1983), Kilomba (2019), Fanon (2020), we aim to understand the banzo, the derailment and the collective trauma of the black population in the favela. In addition, we find ways to relate African womanism and Conceição Evaristo’s escrevivência as a space of power and afro-affection for people historically silenced. We understand that a path of ancestral return is possible through African knowledge and the matricommunity of black women, contextualized in Brazilian territory
