Item O tipo como recurso de revisão historiográfica da arquitetura moderna: uma análise da residência José Félix Louza(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-06-07) Almeida, Mayra de Paula Nascimento; Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6861542919882643; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Mello , Fernando Antônio OliveiraThis research aims to test an alternative explanation to the linear “diffusion-reception” historical narrative for the modern architecture in Brazil. For that, it uses “type” as an instrument of analysis for José Félix Louza’s House, a 1950’ David Libeskind project in the city of Goiânia. The investigation presents the construction process of a hegemonic narrative that attributes the “irradiator” role to central big cities (such as Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo) and the “popularization” role to the peripheric productions, such as the one in Goiânia. Retaking the evolution of the type concept in the discipline, this research explains its meaning as: part of the existent architecture culture in a certain historical moment, the result of a collectivity needs and enabled by its technique. Starting from a glance on the project, the first moment scrutinizes the houses’s key elements through tipos settoriales: the home-courtyard; the tripartition organization of nineteenth century; the sliding planes and its textures. In a second moment, each one of these types is observed in the concerning context as an architectural historic process . This process reveals that the types of Jose Félix Louza’s House are also tipos integratos, in other words, they are linked to the place where they are inserted, therefore, they are not plain copies of paradigmatic examples.Item Dispositivos de vida pública: revisitando teorias e procedimentos de avaliação dos espaços públicos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-09-13) Bandeira, Ângelica Carvalho; Hora, Karla Emmanuela Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6451685640638572; Hora, Karla Emmanuela Ribeiro; Medeiros, Valério Augusto Soares de; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; Kuramoto, Miraci; Britto, Pedro DultraThis dissertation has as objective define the variables for the evaluation of public life in Brazilian public spaces that can be applied with citizen participation in the future, resulting in guidelines for action. In this way, we intend to fill the existing gap in the design practice of the field of Architecture and Urbanism, which does not incorporate the citizen in the whole process and which proposes a fragmented analysis of public life. From a bibliographical research, the first part of the study is dedicated to the conceptual body that guided the development of the research, the second contains the sample of the procedures of analysis of public spaces traveled by the analogy of the itinerary, that is, showing how to evaluate and one minimum series of paths, or dimensions, by which the evaluation of public life can be carried out. From this theoretical-methodological referential arised the Public Life Devices that allow the evaluation of public spaces with citizen participation from phases and categories that, in turn, gathering criteria and registration techniques. Against the study can be concluded first that the theories on public life and public space are, , as a rule, contrasting with the Brazilian reality, but this could be changed through citizen participation. In a second moment, it is verified that every project implies in unforeseeable deviations, so, the specialists can’t order and control the experience in a space. But on the other hand this does not constitute negatively and yes portrays the public life itself. It is also considered that the public life notion is not just constituted in using the public space besides the circulation, but in claim the character political, social, affectionate and cognitive in the relationship people/citizen/subject-lived space/ existence. Finally, it is understood that citizen participation is necessary to attend to the aspirations of the population, especially those of the most excluded, besides implying in the full exercise of democracy.Item Residências do setor Central: por que preservá-las?(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-06-05) Barros, Renata Lima; Caixeta, Eline Maria Mora Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5246618096427219; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Paula, Ana Amélia Moura de; Caixeta, Elina Maria Mora PereiraThe deterioration of Heritage Assets is concerning. The lack of initiatives that pursuit its appreciation and preservation causes its loss. Our assets are part of our identity. They tell a story from the past and they are our form of communication with the future generations. What can be done for its preservation? In Brazil, a legislation specific to preserve Brazilian heritage assets is not enough. The preservation is not only a matter of the Brazilian Public Power, there needs to be social involvement. Given the importance of the relationship between society and the Heritage Assets, this dissertation will study some of the remaining historical residences in the Central Region of Goiânia, Brazil. Four of the residential buildings were selected and studied to better understand how people interact with these assets. The research includes architectural and urban analysis and importantly interviews with the owners. It was necessary to understand the value of these assets that go beyond the historical and architectural pointed by scholars. The owners add to the Assets and will affect its preservation process.Item A antiga linha férrea de Goiânia. De símbolo da modernidade à obsolescência(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-08-23) Brandão, Simone Buiate; Britto, Pedro Dultra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3392969122990264; Britto, Pedro Dultra; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Chaveiro, Eguimar FelícioThis research is an agony verbalization for what has been left to oblivion in Goiania’s landscape, the ancient railroad of Goiás Railway. It used to be the modernization symbol of Goiás State and of the city construction, it was built in the 1950’s, from the extension of a railroad branch originated in the trunk line Araguari – Anápolis. The railway used to cross the whole state, to the north of the country, with the goal to reach the new capital of sertão, Brazil’s very deep country side, departing from Leopoldo de Bulhões and getting into the city perimeter up to Campinas, the oldest district in Goiânia. However, the golden years of the railway were too short, the late arrival of the trails coincided with the highways’ fast progress in the country, while the railways suffered many reflexes from the lack of investments and serious financial problems, besides the undercarriage’s obsolescence. Thus, a dream coming true became a nightmare, resulting on the partial deactivation process of the rail branch. This had boosted the increase of irregular neighboring areas occupations, the abandonment of spaces and the immediate removal of some trails. However, remains of a railway area were left, such as the stations, few residences and trails which unveil a past. This past is present like a ghost, who still walks by the city almost unseen by great majority of the population. Having this in mind, the aim of this study is to elaborate a story in order to understand and analyze the landscape that has been transformed along the years with the insertion of this modernity instrument in the urban tissue of Goiânia. The methodological procedures were based on bibliographic researches, documents analysis, on printed and electronic material from private and public institutions, on field and mapping services. This work helped us to understand how the railway has interfered in the formation and transformation of the space along the years until today, unveiling four distinct axes: the superposition axe, a path where nowadays one can find the Leste-Oeste Avenue, which has replaced the trails; the destruction axe, which comprises the Trabalhador Square, where one can find the Railway Station that suffers constant reuse try-outs, but nowadays is abandoned; the crossties’ cemetery, a path full of railway remains; and, finally, the resistance axe, the only path where the train still operates. In this way, this study tries to fulfil a gap in Goiás Railway’s history that has not been registered yet. At the same time, it establishes a base for new stories that could deeply explore each axe identified.Item A expansão urbana de Goiânia e instrumentos de gestão: um enfoque sobre a região sudeste(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2015-08-21) Brito, Lorena Cavalcante; Kneib, Erika Cristine; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4735551Y9; Barreira, Celene Cunha Monteiro Antunes; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4784247D6; Barreira, Celene Cunha Monteiro Antunes; Kneib, Erika Cristine; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Nucada, Miraci KuramotoThis paper discusses the process of urban expansion of Goiânia, under the bias of management tools, from a case study applied to the southeast of the capital. The impacts suffered are analyzed for this region, due to the city metropolization process by conurbation with neighboring municipalities and simultaneously the process of abandonment of the central areas, by the elite. The period studied, the start of structuring the region to the present day (1950-2015), is marked by several phases that sometimes exemplify the history of expansion of Goiânia. It presents reflections on: the role of management tools in the city's expansion preocess, the spatial process and the action of cosial agents producers of the city. It was noticed a pattern of ocupation in the southeast, whose approach was made possible by the application of analytical methodology based on PANERAI (2015), classifying the types of occupation found. The clipping possible to understand the southeast as a whole as well as the current trend of urban expansion undergone by the state of Goiás capital.Item Pré-fabricação: arquitetura ou construção ?(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-02-26) Carvalho Neto, Manoel Balbino; Frota, Jose Artur Daló; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1237827122654831; Frota, José Artur Daló; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; Zein, Ruth VerdeThis research examines the issue of prefabrication in concrete under the gaze of architecture from three axes: historical analysis, technological analysis and theoretical analysis. The historical analysis explores the subject from the beginning of the reinforced concrete evolution and the emergency needs during the post-war in Europe. Either prefabrication or precast, gained space and meaning in the modern architecture with clear temporal, aesthetic and ideological link to Brutalism. At another times, the use of this technology seemed needless, limited to a single building - a prototype - despite all important prefabricated buildings already constructed. In Brazil, several experiments were performed at the Universidade de Brasília – “the prefabrication university” – having the architect João Filgueiras Lima, Lelé, as the main protagonist. The technological analysis opens the way for understanding the prefabricated building methods, sometimes engendered by the architecture itself, like ferrocement technology. Also problems concerning constructability are under discussion, while the prefabrication comes into disuse in the 1980’s. Theoretical analysis brings to the agenda the discussion of the essence of prefabricated architecture and explores the reasons for the dissociation between technology and art, either architecture or prefabrication. Here, the public school building systems conducted by prefabrication, created in Brazil also in the 1980’s is a good example. Known by the initials CIACs, CAICs, CEUs, FDE, they are all schools with a strong visual identity and a clear political link that does not allow these programs to last long. With the absence of big players like Lelé, prefabrication became an outdated issue for architecture, although it’s increasingly applied in engineering. Commercial pre-fabrication becomes consistent with the building structure acting as a construction subsystem - like the FDE case, the invisible part of the building waiting for a wrapper. KEYWORDS: Prefabrication; precast; technology and project process; architecture; Brazil; Joao Filgueiras Lima.Item Privê Atlântico - de conjunto habitacional a condomínio: um caso incomum de valorização imobiliária(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-08-02) Carvalho, Adriana Figueiredo; Mello, Márcia Metran de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4684676783995945; Mello, Márcia Metran de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4684676783995945; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Mahler, Christine RamosThe present research deals with the pursuit for an understanding of a housing modality that has attracted many adepts in Goiânia and in other Brazilian cities, the gated community. Based on a private and differentiated historical gated community, called Privê Atlântico, the intention is to bring to light how this modality can become as strong as a point to transform a housing complex into a gated community and change the market value of their real estate. For this, a search of a macro look, seeking common questions to the cities of the contemporaneity and its society, in a scenario of a globalized and capitalist world. Afterwards, the focus shifts to the discussed theme. We chose to go from the origin of the gated community, the discourses used by the market for its valorization, and an image that these enterprises occupy in Goiania‘s society. The next moment is aimed at an understanding of the research object, Privê Atlântico. Again, the initiative is a quest for a macro look on the city. A recovering of the increase in the growth of Goiânia is done in order to know how a city developed and became appreciated towards the southwest region, where the gated community is located. It was also done in order to find out how specific investments such as parks can stimulate the population growth and attract investors and services that could value a region. Then, the look turns to the object of study. From the search for documents, the surveys made on the spot and the interviews granted by residents and former residents, it was possible to understand that it is a gated community that was born unpretentious, and that the greatest value that exists in the place is not the recognition of itself as a gated community, something which some villagers fought to conquer. Ironically, the value of Privê Atlântico can be explained by its history, by its humble origins. The neighborhood ties developed throughout its history, strengthened by the struggles faced by its residents, are what the Privê Atlântico possesses as the richest. Perhaps, the wealth of Privê Atlântico does not exist in any other gated community that has been elaborated with refinement, organization and elegance.Item Poder, memória e estigmas: pontes entre Ceres e Rialma(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-02-24) Costa, Lucas Felício; Fonseca, Carolina Ferreira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5992046118959738; Britto, Pedro Dultra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3392969122990264; Britto, Pedro Dultra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3392969122990264; Fonseca, Carolina Ferreira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5992046118959738; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Chaveiro, Eguimar FelícioIn this workit is proposed an approach between the forms of Power and Stigma as actions which engender socioeconomic and spatial differences. The cities of Ceres (National Agricultural Colony of Goiás) and Rialma (Barranca) were takenas objects of investigation. They are two municipalities in the state of Goiás, located in the Valley of Saint Patrick, at the banks of the River of Souls. Considered as “sisters”, these cities are separated by a geographic limit, a river, but they are also connected by stories, memories and a bridge. The two cities were founded on the same occasion, but their trajectories reveal, today, large differences established by an unequal and predatory relationship, based, since the beginning, on the construction of stigmas. To develop a possible reading of the historical, political and social condition, related to the formation of Ceres and Rialma, it is indicated a dialogue between the works of Michel Foucault (1992, 2008, 2012, 2013), based on the concepts of Power, Domain, Discipline and Torture, and the works of Walter Benjamin (1987, 1994, 2011), taking as reference the notion of History, Allegory, and Ruin. The historical groundwork of this dissertation was structured based on the analysis of official, literary and iconographic documents, and also based on interviews realized with residents of the cities of Ceres and Rialma. As a methodological proposal of evaluation of the process of territorial stigmatization, two procedures of reading of the territories of analysis were realized. These procedures refer to Certeaus’s (1994) concepts: the research in the condition of Flaneur, who walks and experiences the daily life of the cities, and as a Voyeur that uses several indicators – social, census, demographic, economicand cultural for analysisof Ceres and Rialma condition. The confrontation with the data obtained from the statements recorded in the field research, with the pioneers and the young people from the cities, enabled us to identify how the stigma of “Barranca” and other multiple forms of domination and subordination are present in the correlations between them as a strategic action of power. Therefore, we obtained as final considerations of this research that the production of social inequalities between the two cities comes from a historical function which feeds back and supports the maintenance of the status quo.Item Proposta de método para análise de qualidade ambiental e humanização em maternidades. Estudo de caso: Maternidade Nascer Cidadão - Goiânia - Brasil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-03-25) Cotrim, Nayara Araújo de Assis; Oliveira, Janes Cleiton Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0137157163177759; Oliveira, Janes Cleiton Alves de; Harbich, Loyde Vieira de Abreu; Azevedo, Luciana AraujoThe public hospital, as health care equipment (EAS), is an equipment that has relevance in the context of the city because it is directly related to the health of the human being, being one of the public equipment most used by the population, which must have direct access, where necessary, to this equipment. Maternity is the part of the public health system responsible for women's health and delivery. It must be endowed with spatial and architectural quality, ensuring that pregnant women and their families find in this public equipment all the necessary quality for a good care from the screening and preparation for delivery to the evaluation of the baby and the postpartum mother. This dissertation aimed to understand, analyze and diagnose maternity through a specific method. For a case study, the Nascer Cidadão maternity hospital, located in the city of Goiânia, was chosen and analyzed. In order to collect data related to environmental comfort and humanization, a method was developed with a specific questionnaire for maternity hospitals, which was called MAVQAHM (Method of Environmental Quality Assessment and Humanization for Maternities) to be filled by the various users of this space. by the researcher. The method was elaborated based on the AEDET (Achieving Excellence Design Evaluation Toolkit) method and the data obtained by the MAVQAHM method were analyzed by the Net Promoter Score (NPS) method. The questionnaire, gave rise to a diagnosis of the maternity case study, demonstrating that the areas related to safety, urban and social integration, and performance, are the ones that have the largest gap, from the perspective of users. From the diagnosis, the public power and the direction of maternity, has a study that supports and directs possible and future interventions in the preexisting building, as well as substrate, through the elaborated method, to guide and direct future projects of maternity in the city of Goiânia.Item O pixo como ato político(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-03-27) Cunha, Marcelo Perini Peralta; Britto, Pedro Dultra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3392969122990264; Britto, Pedro Dultra; Amaral, Camilo Vladimir de Lima; Fonseca, Carolina Ferreira daThe present work focuses on analyzing picho as a form of urban intervention distinct from others such as graffiti and street art. We first approach this separation between graffiti and picho that occurs only in Brazil. We analyze how they are activities that have a paradoxical relationship where graffiti is accepted as a legitimate work of art and transformed into another cultural commodity of the cities, as well as a way of acting in the urban environment to promote its valorization, while picho refuses to follow this line and remain deliberately illegal, constantly questioning the public character of our cities and their strategic marketing management. By doing so, it is an undeniably political act of contesting the way cities are managed today and how they can be appropriated by their citizens.Item Avaliação das ações de acessibilidade propostas no Plano Diretor de Goiânia (Lei Nº 171/2007)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-08-30) Dias, Wesley Afonso da Silva; Hora, Karla Emmanuela Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6451685640638572; Traldi, Patrícia Layne Alves; Kallas, Luana Miranda EsperThe actions towards urban mobility involve many factors, as the elaboration of a plan for urban mobility, which results in tools to be applied to improve the population’s quality of life in any city, aiming to prioritize public transport over individual, non-motorized vehicles over motorized ones, besides the improvement on displacement and road infrastructure. For that reason, evaluating these plans constitute an important stage, once it allows us to understand if the actions meet the goals proposed by the policies, if the financial resources are being well destined and applied and in what measure the non-effectiveness of the plan can generate problems to the city. Costa (2008) and Frey (2000) state that it is necessary to create evaluations for this took, as they aiming to guarantee the good development of the plan and to verify if it is necessary to adapt the program which is being developed, so that can may be taken actions. About the systems of urban mobility, different studies as Vasconcellos’s (2013) and Maricato’s (2011) point to the existence of crisis in most Brazilian cities, making the instruments for evaluation and monitoring even more relevant. Considering these elements, the goal of this study is to evaluate the actions towards urban mobility included in the Master Plan for Goiânia (Law number 171/2007) and the legislations which derive from it, paying special attention to the urban accessibility. To do so, we carried three kinds of research methodologies: bibliographical and documental, as well as the application of an evaluative method for public policies through the use of indicators by the confrontation of data between what was executed and the budget destined to these actions. The Indicators of Mobility have been usually applied on this kind of evaluation, because the measurement of their variables is easy to deal with, allowing agility on the decision making processes. The results indicate that there are no processes for monitoring and evaluating accessibility actions relative to the urban mobility system. Although it is possibly to verify that the budget destined to mobility has increased, the way the public and budgetary policies are applied between 2007 and 2017 do not allow us to analyze directly the correlation between physical and budgetary variables.Item De arraial a patrimônio mundial: a redescoberta da Cidade de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-06-27) Drogomirecki, Stephanie Botovchenco Rivera; Mello, Marcia Metran de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4684676783995945; Mello, Marcia Metran de; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Souza, Rildo Bento deSeeking to implement the powers to them entrusted by the Portuguese crown, and to organize the occupation in the Brazilians countryside, bandeirantes such as Bartolomeu Bueno da Silva and miners, like Manoel Rodrigues Tomar, founded in the captaincy of Goiás some “arraiais”, a kind of settlement without legal or administrative autonomy, which answered to their local villages (in this case, São Paulo). In this captaincy, one “arraial” stood out, both economically and politically: the Arraial de Sant'Ana, which became later known as Vila Boa. For centuries, this urban nucleus was essential to the state of Goiás economy and history. When the captaincy of Goiás started to feel the great impact of the region ́s gold shortage, many towns and cities were abandoned by the miners and eventually disappeared. However, Vila Boa (now known as Goiás) had survived this shortage, despite it also suffering a political impact in the early twentieth century when the capital was transferred to the modern city of Goiânia. After the loss of the State seat, some residents of the City of Goiás, allied to public agencies such as the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (Iphan), pooled their efforts in order to make the city the most important cultural heritage site of the state. When one acknowledges the importance of this city, one also has to discuss its rediscovery by means of its heritage, now heavily explored by the local tourism boards, as well as the impacts that this rediscovery of architecture and urbanism - through actions from Iphan and part of the city's residents – brought, and still bring, to the cultural and social scene of the state of Goiás, besides the fact that the city was conferred the World Heritage Site status from Unesco in 2001.Item Nem palácio, nem ninho: um lugar para a criança e o adolescente no sistema de justiça(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-03-28) Faria, Cybelle Saad Sabino de Freitas; Badan, Rosane Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2241460854673642; Badan, Rosane Costa; Mahler, Christine Ramos; Ferreira, Bráulio ViniciusThe path to be followed by the child and / or adolescent victim of violence is perverse and victimizing. In the justice system they face the same obstacles as adults in addition to facing barriers and impediments linked to their vulnerability. The new law 13.431, which comes into force in April 2018, determines new conduct in the relationship of justice with the child and adolescent public. Their reception and care should be conducted in a friendly environment, separate from the Hearing Room, especially designed to promote their psychological protection. However, in the legal area, it is not specified how these sites should be, in the architectural scope subjective parameters for planning such spaces are not observed and within the scope of the administration of justice there are difficulties linked to the lack of long term planning, resources and bureaucratic obstacles. In the buildings chosen as object of study, the Criminal Forum and the Juvenile Court of Children and Youth, both located in the city of Goiânia, were identified inadequacies and possibilities. The objective of this study is to identify the desirable material and immaterial qualities in the environments for the care of children and adolescents who participate in the procedures of justice through the study of physical, psychoemotional and symbolic-cultural needs, desires and values alluding to this age group. As a result, the study provides guidelines for new configurations of judicial spaces for children and adolescents based on objective and subjective aspects.Item Taxonomia do urbanismo tático: uma proposta para leitura, compreensão e articulação das táticas urbanas emergentes(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-04-11) Farias, Ana Carolina Carvalho; Paio, Alexandra; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4144-8499; Britto, Pedro Dultra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3392969122990264; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Rena, Natacha Silva Araújo; Britto, Pedro Dultra; Paio, AlexandraCities are formed by a set of official practices supported by their normative institutions, and also by unofficial practices, that escape the norms and that bring other possibilities, other urgencies. The term tactical urbanism began to be used in the first decade of the 21st century to designate such practices in urbanism, referring generally to temporary, informal and somewhat contentious urban interventions in official practices and contemporary cities. However, the theoretical, artistic and political references of the practitioners of Tactical Urbanism refer to a much broader and complex role of practices that are often presented as an alternative to the Neoliberal Urbanism, currently hegemonic in the production of cities. However, there is still a certain theoretical and methodological gap regarding the tactical movements of urban production, which make it difficult to understand their capabilities and analyze their effects. In this sense, this research tried to construct a conceptual panorama on the Tactical Urbanism, exemplified with several practitioners and practices, sometimes called as such, sometimes indifferent to the term but within it. For this, a Taxonomy of Tactical Urbanism was elaborated, which brings eleven categories of analysis, elaborated in eighty-four subcategories, with the purpose of providing a reading for such practices and facilitating the articulation between their ideas, agents and objectives. For the elaboration of the Taxonomy, forty practices were charted and cataloged, exemplifying the various narratives that compose the discourse of urban tactics, representative of the work of great exponents of this discourse and also of the urban realities of the five continents. The Taxonomy is available on online platform, which allows the processing of complex data and collaborative data feeding. In this study, we demonstrate several ways of using the Taxonomy of Tactical Urbanism, among them, the triangulation between specific categories with the objective of verifying how Tactical Urbanism contributes in the fight for the right to the city, in the constitution of urban commons and in the confrontation with Neoliberal Urbanism. This articulation allowed us to conclude that the tactical self-denominated practices, closer to what was popularized with the label of Tactical Urbanism, present generally fragile arrangements as alternative possibilities to the neoliberal city, while the practices that are better able to promote the right to the city and to experience the constitution of commons, are those that take the tactic beyond the tactic, combining it in strategic movements, more aligned with the traditional struggles for urban justice. Such a conclusion reveals the need for critical thinking to better subsidize such actions, helping to circumvent the pitfalls and enhance the capacities of collaboration, participation and empowerment of multitude, which Tactical Urbanism can bring as contributions to the construction of more just cities.Item Interfaces entre arte e arquitetura: oiInstituto de arte contemporânea do Inhotim(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-06-24) Ferreira, Ana Isabel Oliveira; Mello, Márcia Metran de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4684676783995945; Mello, Márcia Metran de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4684676783995945; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Boaventura, Deusa Maria RodriguesThe formation of cultural enterprises, cultural consumption market strengthening and the creation of traveling and temporary exhibitions linked to the artistic transformations, made exhibition spaces acquired a new character, requiring an overhaul of both its old demands and the need to expand its boundaries in the contemporary world. In this context, this work presents a study of the spatial conceptions of contemporary museums based on the analysis of Inhotim Institute galleries, which is considered the most important center for contemporary art in Brazil. This research aims to discuss the interfaces between art and architecture, understanding their influence on the current exhibition spaces configuration. Concerning the theme context, in the first place, was made a record of the evolution of the museum as a type of building, then a history of the expansion of artistic events. The object of study, Contemporary Art Institute of Inhotim, is located both in the context of institutional and spatial historical development of museums as the manifestations of contemporary art. From then on, you can perform the analysis of the galleries projects. The methodology resulted in the classification of the Institute galleries in three different approach lines: Architecture as a work of art; An architecture, multiple works; and An architecture for an artist. About similarities and differences, the comparative and descriptions method, which examine different approaches of the construction and design process of the art galleries of the Institute, lists the aesthetic and construction, realization process resource of architectural work, with exposed art. Regarding the design of museums in the contemporary world, this study comes to instigate and initiate new discussions, and facilitate the improvement and development of project parameters, once they are spaces that have undergone and continue to undergo profound transformations.Item A rede de cidades criativas da Unesco: uma perspectiva das cidades brasileiras(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-08-22) Ferreira, Victor Moura Soares; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6774803204502154; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Britto, Pedro Dultra; Boaventura, Deusa Maria RodriguesThe idea of the creative city emerges as the fruit of the post-industrial era, when cities needed to reinvent themselves from a strategic relationship with creativity, specifically with the creative industry and the creative economy. The formulation of those expressions, first raised by the australian government and later by the british, discussed the value of art and culture through those which were possible the creation of jobs and wealth production. The United Nations, through UNCTAD and Unesco, incorporated in their discourses and policies the importance of the development of the urban environment ordered by creativity. Its intention was embodied after the launch of the Unesco Network of Creative Cities in 2004, platform that established a commitment to invest in creativity and culture as a strategic factor for "sustainable" urban development. In order to understand this dynamic that uses culture as an urban management strategy, the Network's research from the perspective of the five Brazilian cities - Florianópolis and Curitiba, with the insertion in 2014, and the cities of Belém, Santos and Salvador, in 2015 - allowed to identify the strategies that configure this program and, also, the nuances of each one. The idea was based on the investigation of application forms, information in electronic media and digital files. The research rethinks that the discourse of the creative city is closer to the image bias, economic and political than the ideal model of a post-industrial city, as some theorists claim. Possibly, the creative city is only a reflection of an image that began in the economy and was diluted in the discourse of managers, possessing the Nation-State as controlling agent.Item Caminhos de uma arquitetura: obra e trajetória de Antônio Lúcio Ferrari Pinheiro(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-03-26) Fonseca, Ronaldo da Paixão; Mello, Marcia Metran de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4684676783995945; Mello, Márcia Metran de; Mahler, Christine Ramos; Morais, Fabíola ArantesThis research consists of an analysis of the architect Antônio Lúcio Ferrari Pinheiro’s (1939-) work and trajectory. It is an observation on the historiography of modern Brazilian architecture, through the context investigation of this architect’s production, reconstructing his professional path from graduating (1959-1963) to the establishment in the city of Goiânia (1968), region where most of his projects and works are registered. The research scope is the observation of the whole of this architecture dating from the years 1964 to 1989. The House of the Architect (1967-1976) is the inflection point of the analyzes undertaken, since it is the synthesis of the discourse by the tectonic character, the approximation with Brutalist Architecture from the São Paulo School (ZEIN, 2005) and the prototypical question of the formal structure. It refers to an exploratory research, of the documentary type using primary and secondary sources, whose building is the main document, the starting point to formulate the propositions and the necessary cutouts for understanding the object. Thus, a gap is filled in the history of Brazilian architecture; a new character is inserted with a significant production that deserves recognition and appreciation as a cultural product of brazilian modern.Item Espaços de refúgio em Pirenópolis: uma análise fenomenológica e sensorial do habitar na natureza(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-03-26) Furtado, Maria Cristina de Oliveira; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5246618096427219; Caixeta, Eline Maria Moura Pereira; Mello, Fernando Antônio Oliveira; Badan, Rosane CostaThe present master thesis deals with the spaces of refuge existing in the surroundings of the city of Pirenópolis and what are the material and symbolic elements that bring to these places an atmosphere of cosiness and peace. In big cities, man is increasingly disconnected from nature and therefore some people seek to inhabit less urbanized places. Among the motivations is the feeling of security, decreasing in the city. The nature that inspired danger today is the place of protection of modern life. The theoretical discussion covers several areas of study that are in line with the architectural phenomenology approach. Within this context, the philosopher Gaston Bachelard and architect Christian Norberg-Schulz form the basis of the analysis methodology. A tectonic expression and the sensorial aspects of the complementary spaces or theoretical referentials, being important in the realized analyzes. All of them are in tune with the postmodern paradigms of contemporary dwelling, where the object of study is located. The data gathering was carried out through bibliographical, documentary and field research. The interviews are of the type unstandardized and were made with residents of the spaces of refuge. In the final chapter, the analysis of three houses was first carried out, detailing the information about them. In a second moment, the analysis is based on the outstanding elements of the theoretical reference, where besides the three spatialities highlighted, there are also symbolic and sensorial aspects of other raised domestic refuges. In this way, the research proposed to understand ways of living that are in contact with nature and that establish a deep connection between the inhabitant and the place. It is also observed how the theories related to the phenomenology of the architecture are present in the spaces studied.Item Comércio e memória urbana: um estudo do bairro de Campinas em Goiânia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-03-16) Godinho, Daniele Severino de Souza; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6774803204502154; Oliveira, Adriana Mara Vaz de; Mello, Márcia Metran de; Peixoto, Elane RibeiroConsidering the commercial vocation of the neighborhood of Campinas, which is old and comes from its foundation, it aims to analyze the facts that contributed to the formation of the commerce of the neighborhood, in Goiânia, evaluating what remains as urban memory. The commercial areas of this neighborhood are taken as central object of the investigations, observing the transformations in the urban landscape. To do so, we proceed to research in archives that revealed several sources for this study, such as the Historical and Geographical Institute of Goiás and the State Historic Archive of Goiás. Also found in the Municipal Secretariat of Planning and Urbanism (SEPLAM) ) and in the Documentation and Library Center of SEPLAM, such as photographs, maps, decrees and newspaper clippings. In addition to the public archives, the historical images of Campinas were provided by photographers Hélio de Oliveira and Eduardo Bilemjian (represented by his grandson Eliezer Bilemjian). In addition to working with the primary sources, field surveys were carried out through readings of the formal and informal neighborhood trade, as well as exercises in urban ethnography, with the aim of helping to apprehend the dynamics of the place. To these sources are also added testimonials and memories of residents and merchants of Campinas. Thus, it is observed that both Avenida 24 de Outubro and the Municipal Market of Campinas, anchor-avenue and place of neighborhood traditions, respectively, remain in the urban memory.Item Transporte público coletivo e acessibilidade na região metropolitana de Goiânia: um panorama da dinâmica metropolitana a partir de indicadores(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-04-25) Gonzaga, Ana Stéfany da Silva; Kneib, Érika Cristine; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4735551Y9; Kneib, Érika Cristine; Portugal, Licínio da Silva; Barreira, Celene Cunha Monteiro AntunesThis research is inserted in the context of the importance of the accessibility for the development of metropolitan regions.
