Item Aplicação da lógica fuzzy na análise do índice corporal de cavalos da raça mangalarga marchador(2010) Costa, Esdras Teixeira; Santos, Rodrigo Couto; Moreira, Fernando Ricardo; Cabacinha, Christian Dias; Koetz, MarcioThe corporal index is one of the most important indices in the morphometric analysis of Mangalarga Marchador horse, once it makes a relation between body length and thoracic girth, classifying animals according to scale of small, medium and large shape. The variables in the process are known and continuous, although the final classification shows blank spaces, which is against the nature of continuity of the referred variable. The terms used in this classification can be treated as input linguistic variables which generates an output variable in a rule-based fuzzy logic system. Therefore, The intention of this paper was present a system based on fuzzy logic to provide the body index (CI) of Mangalarga Marchador breed, in such way that the results were the same as in the traditional method, and which also could classify results outside range of the traditional method. Using this new method, we could show that fuzzy logic is an interesting tool to work with this kind of situation.Item Juros: conceitos e aplicações(2010) Moreira, Fernando Ricardo; Costa, Esdras Teixeira; Santos, Rodrigo Couto; Ferreira, Wendy Carniello; Cabacinha, Christian DiasThe understanding of mathematics is essential for citizens to act as prudent consumers or make decisions in their personal and professional life. With this idea in mind is that we write about financial mathematics. We begin with a little history of the subject, then we define income, interest rate, etc. .. We talked about three different funded schemes: the scheme of simple interest, the system of compound interest and finally on a funded training. To facilitate the understanding of the subject were made examples of each type of system mentioned.
