Resumo
C57B1/6 imbred mice were orally inoculated with Lagochilascaris minor
infective eggs obtained from a cervical lesion a patient bom in "Conceição do
Araguaia" (State of Pará - Brazil).
It was observed third stage larval incystement in muscles, vísceras and
subcutaneous tissues of the infected mice, after larvae hatch of the eggs in intestinal
walls and larval migration through lungs and liver.
The larval partem development observed in this experiment suggests that
mice may play the role of intermediate host in the experimental evolutive cicie of Z..
minor.
