Revisão sistemática da literatura e metassíntese qualitativa: uma proposta de etapas para a sua condução na gestão epidemiológica

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of meta-synthesis in the process of systematization of qualitative nature data in systematic literature review studies for decision making, especially on epidemiological management field. It describes a step-by-step proposal for conducting studies using this methodology, based on the review of the available theoretical reference under the subject. It suggests the adoption of the proposed model with a view to their dissemination and improvement, since it is a challenging procedure, but allowing the understanding, synthesis and development of applicable knowledge under the applied social sciences, especially in health.
