Resumo
Weekly captures were performed from January to December of 1992 in a
permanently inhabited house on the surroundings of Goiânia, where 329 specimens
of culicidae distributed in 12 species and 5 genders, were apprehended. The most
frequent was Culex (Culex) quinquefasciatus (Wiedmann, 1828) (68,70%) followed by
Culex (Culex) dolosus (Arribalzaga,1891) (14,28%); Aedes (Ochlerotatus) serratus
(Theobald, 1901) (4,55%); Culex (Culex) pilosus (Dyar & Knab, 1906) (3,34%); Coquilleftidia (Rhynchotaenia) jitxtamansonia (Chagas, 1907) (3,04%); Anopheles
(Nyssorhynchus) triannulatus (Neiva & Pinto, 1922) (2,43%); Anopheles
(Nyssorhynchus) albitarsis (Lynch Arribálzaga, 1878); (0,61%) Anopheles
(Nyssorhynchus) argyritarsis (Robineau-Desvoidy, 1827) (0,61%); Aedes
(Ochlerotaíus) scapularis (Rondani, 1848)(0,61%); Coquillettidia (Rhynchotaenia)
venezuelensis (Theobald, 1912) (0,61%); Haemagogus (Conopostegus) leucocelaentts
(Dyar& Shannon, 1924) (0,61%).
The observation of specíes of human and animal importance, ín a inhabited
house in Goiânia, suggests the possibility of alterations hi the epidemiological
aspects of arboviroses.
