dc.description.abstractArtificial Intelligence is an area that receive attentions due the daring to implement intelligence in non-organic beings. However, throughout history was created myths, caused by exaggerations about their features and applications, which consequently generated distrust.Therefore, this article was conceived to study about the Artificial Intelligence science and Distributed Artificial Intelligence discipline. Some features like: History, the discipline Distributed Artificial Intelligence and its division, the infrastructure that involves applications in this area and the “state of the art” will be presented.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoInteligência artificial é uma área que chama atenção pela ousadia de implementar inteligência em seres não biológicos. No entanto, ao longo da história, criaram-se mitos causados por exageros a respeito de suas funcionalidades e aplicações, que, por conseqüência, geraram desconfianças. Com o intuito de levantar informações sobre a ciência Inteligência Artificial e sua disciplina Inteligência Artificial Distribuída, este artigo foi concebido. Algumas características, como o histórico, a disciplina Inteligência Artificial Distribuída e sua divisão, a infra-estrutura que envolve aplicações nesta área e, por final, o “estado da arte”, serão apresentadas.pt_BR
