Resumo
The following work deals with the elaboration of an architectural project for a
kindergarten school in the municipality of Xinguara, in the State of Pará. The choice of theme
was based on my experiences in the city, where I lived since I was 3 years old. When I was 4
years old, my family opened a kindergarten, where my aunts and even my mother were
teachers. In addition to the educational process, I witnessed the bureaucratic and planning
processes. For reasons of force majeure, the school had to be closed, but the experience in
the school environment was just beginning since a large part of the family followed the career
of educators within the municipality. In this way, discussions about education, its more
libertarian processes and pedagogies have always been present in my social environment,
which aroused interest in the area.
After several analyzes carried out in the territory, as well as this desire to design a school, we
arrive at the proposal of a kindergarten school located in the Jardim Tropical neighborhood, a
neighborhood where an allotment of the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program (PMCMV) is
implemented and that does not have any type of public equipment to meet the diverse needs
of families. It should also be taken into account that the residences of this Program have
questionable architectural quality and the way in which they are located in the city, generate a
monotonous space without functional diversity and that do not prioritize the creation of
collective spaces
