De cartão postal ao lazer cotidiano: o Lago Municipal de Palminópolis-GO

Abstract

Considering the little diversity in leisure programs and in the environmental qualities of public spaces aimed at these uses in Palminópolis-GO, the object of study of this work is the Municipal Club Dirceu Vaz da Rosa, better known as municipal lake, the which for many years was the postcard and everyday leisure of the Palminopolinos. However, due to the situation of relative abandonment and the lack of any project that values the sensitive contact with nature, especially with water, this space has ceased to be frequented in everyday leisure, thus justifying the need for a requalification project. Aiming at the sensitive recognition of the place, understood as a subsidy for design studies to be carried out later, the following methods were adopted: bibliographic research, on the main concepts covered (leisure, landscape, urban parks), field trips, which through of photographic records, sketches and cartographic surveys constitutes a landscape inventory, and case studies of projects with different spatial solutions related to lake environments, in order to contribute to the next stage of this work and to other researches that focus on the theme.
