Item Desempenho de métodos clássicos e meta-heurísticas aplicadas à sintonia de controladores PID sob o aspecto do fator de incontrolabilidade(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-03-30) Andrade Filho, Alfredo de Paulo; Cardoso, Alisson Assis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8216536516894987; Cruz Júnior, Gelson da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4370555454162131; Cruz Júnior, Gelson da; Avelar, Henrique José; Teixeira, Edilberto PereiraThe PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) is one of the most used in industry, and has been employed around the world for decades in industrial control systems. Its popularity can be attributed in part, to its robust performance, in a wide range of operating conditions, and their functional simplicity, which allows engineers to operate them in a simple and direct way. However, tuning such controllers effectively, represents a challenge to control engineers, since it directly affects the efficiency of the system. In the context of modern industry, the setback is even greater, due to the complexity of the processes involved, in which the presence of the Dead Time and the Time Constant of the system, have a great impact on its response. Tuning of PID controllers aims to satisfy some specifications imposed on the transient and steadystate characteristics of the response of the system being controlled. Generally, these specifications fall on the values of Rise Time (Tr), Settlement Time (Ts), Maximum Value overshoot (Mp) and a maximum acceptable Stationary Error (Ess) value. Within the scope of control problems that offer great complexity, either because of the impossibility of previously knowing the transfer function of the system, or due to its multivariable characteristics, several researches have been carried out within the scope of optimizing the tuning of PID controllers using meta-heuristics. In many situations, the system PID cannot be accurately modeled, and still malfunctions in the presence of noise or external disturbances due to the adjustment problem of its parameters that are challenging in practice, as they depend on characteristics of the environment. In this work, we sought to evaluate the performance of the PID controller under the aspect of Uncontrollability Factor when tuned by Genetic Algorithm heuristics (GA) and Particle Swarm (PSO), which have been shown to be more effective in compared to classical tuning methods. Six case studies were evaluated, with varied Uncontrollability Factors.Item Avaliação do impacto da aplicação do modelo de excelência em gestão da Fundação Nacional da Qualidade no processo de comercialização de energia de uma empresa pública: estudo de caso da Eletrobras Eletronorte(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-09-02) Detoni, Geronimo Carlos de Meira; Cruz Júnior, Gelson da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4370555454162131; Cruz Júnior, Gelson da; Guedes, Leonardo Guerra de Rezende; Lemos, Rodrigo PintoThe unbundling of the Brazilian electric sector in 2004 significantly impacted the sale of power in the country. Since then, a number of measures were progressively implemented, making the market for buying and selling energy competitive and challenging. The generation companies and energy traders had to adapt to new market segmentation, while seeking to retain old customers and attract new contracts. In this context, Eletrobras Eletronorte, a public energy generation and transmission company, defined excellence in management as its strategy by aligning its processes to MEG and to have continuous participation in the PNQ, which evaluates and ranks the best companies in Brazil. The company's relationship with customers and the market is made by means of the criterion "Customers". In the energy market, this criterion expresses the degree of excellence of the marketing process. It is therefore hoped that its score is supposed to represent the measure of success in the pursuit of customer retention and maintenance of the organization. Starting from the historic score obtained by the company in editions of PNQ to the criterion "Customers", the results of satisfaction surveys of the area and financial results recorded during the study period, this work intends to evaluate the impact of having MEG used in the process of commercialization of Eletrobras Eletronorte, considering that the organization was the winner of “World Class” prize from FNQ.Item Novo algoritmo para fusão de mapas invariantes a escala, rotação e translação(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-09-28) Ferrão, Victor Terra; Vinhal, Cássio Dener Noronha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9791117638583664; Cruz Júnior, Gelson da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4370555454162131; Cruz Junior, Gelson da; Soares, Fabrizzio Alphonsus Alves de Melo Nunes; Brito, Leonardo da Cunha; Vinhal, Cássio Dener NoronhaThis work presents a new algorithm that works on the problem of merging occupation maps obtained by different autonomous agents and all the steps taken to develop it. This new method can combine maps, invariant to scale, rotation and translation. During each stage of development, it was compared directly with pre-existing agorithms using both data set and simulated environment. Comparative tables and images are shown between algorithms and versions of the proposed algorithm in each of the tests performed. The new algorithm demonstrates to be faster and also more robust. Finally, the present text tries to show this evolutionarily so as to understand better the modifications introduced.Item Mitigação de riscos em aeronaves: estudo da interface elétrica para UTI aerotransportada(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-08-14) Gusmão Sobrinho, Agnaldo de; Guedes, Leonardo Guerra de Rezende; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9989795822168281; Cruz Júnior, Gelson da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4370555454162131; Cruz Júnior, Gélson da; Silva, Solange da; Guedes , Leonardo Guerra de RezendeAspect of electric fail in aircraft has been occupied space for discussion between scientific and the general communication because of the occurrence piece in the aeronautic sector. This work discusses a problem of Risk Analysis in aircraft, especially in the scope of the interconnection of the electric system to the medical air ambulance embedded equipment. The limitation aspect that the applicability of the Brazilian Aviation Regulations and Certification “Regulamento Brasileiro de Homologação Aeronáutica (RBHA)” has been analyze, whereupon the political conjunction with the general procedures established on the Manual Procedures Certification “Manual de Procedimentos de Homologação (MPH-500-04)”, which those requirements for the production certification is used for an emergency environment is showing as a mitigated factor of operational risk. The application of the regulation in this work restrict of the installation and operation of the electric interconnection between aircraft and the medical air ambulance equipment for the emergency air ambulance transportation. The instruction model plan to control the risk has contacted with the principles theory of risk and discuss the scope for application of the electric interconnection to make sure a secured supply of electric energy to the medical equipment and to applied a charge for respective battery , during the no generation of electrical feed to the aircraft.Item Uma abordagem bottom-up completa para reconhecimento de atividades humanas em imagens através da pose estimada com redes convolucionais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-09-27) Soares, Igor Muniz; Vinhal, Cássio Dener Noronha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9791117638583664; Cruz Júnior, Gelson da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4370555454162131; Cruz Júnior, Gelson da; Fernandes, Deborah Silva Alves; Calixto, Wesley Pacheco; Vinhal, Cássio Dener NoronhaIn the last few years, significant improvements in the computer vision were made, making it possible to obtain important information from images. Some of the challenges for a better understanding of a scene are the detection of people and the recognition of the activities they are performing. This work propose a single end-to-end model able to detect people, estimate their pose, and recognize each one of their activities by their pose. The experiments show that the model has reached the state of the art in the tasks of person detection and pose estimation on MSCOCO Dataset 2017, and can recognize walking, running, sitting, and standing activities with an F1 score of 0.7344. The model is real-time with an inference rate of approximately 20 frames/sec.
