Item EFEITOS DO MÉTODO PILATES E DO TREINAMENTO COM PESOS NA MARCHA, NO PESO CORPORAL, NA CAPACIDADE FÍSICA FUNCIONAL E NA QUALIDADE DE VIDA DE MULHERES OBESAS(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2008-09-29) CARNEIRO, Juliana Alves; VIEIRA, Marcus Fraga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4153462617460766; SILVA, Maria Sebastiana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1329422634395496The physical exercise is, currently, a means to intervene in the epidemics of obesity, helping with the weight loss, enhancing the capacity to perform daily activities and decrease the factors of risk of chronicle diseases. Objective: Assess the effectiveness of two programs of physical exercises (Pilates and weight training) and nutritional orientation, in the body weight, in the biomechanics gait, in the functional physical capacity and in the quality of life of obese women. Methodology: For twelve weeks, a group of fifteen obese women participated in a program of aerobic exercises and Pilates method and another group of fourteen obese women participated in a program of aerobic exercises and weight training. The groups participated of nutritional orientation. The exercise training lasted sixty minutes, three times a week. Were evaluated: the body weight, the body mass index (BMI), the six-minute walk test, the stand-up test, the sit-and-reach test, the SF-36(The Medical Outcomes Study 36 item) and the kinematics of the gait through recorded images and digitalized using specific software (Kwon 3D). Results: There was significant reduction of the body weight and the BMI, development in the rates of all tests of functional physical capacity and in the variables of the angular movement of the knee after twelve weeks of intervention in the two groups. The Pilates group showed significant improvement in five domains of SF-36, after twelve weeks and in the domain functional capacity between the two groups. The group trained with weights showed meaningful development in most of the space-time variables of the gait after twelve weeks. Conclusion: Both programs were effective to promote weight loss and enhance the functional physical capacity after twelve weeks. The Pilates method was more effective providing obese women with a better quality of life, mainly in the aspect of physical health. The weight training program was more effective to alter positively the kinematics variable which increased the dynamic stability of the gait of obese women after twelve weeks of intervention.Item Residência multiprofissional na área da saúde: um estudo de caso dos projetos políticos pedagógicos do Hospital das Clínicas da Universidade Federal de Goiás(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-10-25) Marra, Daphne dos Santos; Moraes, Karine Nunes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6017907286532794; Moraes, Karine Nunes de; Oliveira, João Ferreira de; Gomes, Marcilene PelegrineThis work has as its theme the Multiprofessional Residency in the health area and investigates the Political-Pedagogical Projects of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Federal University of Goiás. As a guiding research question, we sought to answer "How are the current Political-Pedagogical Projects of the Multiprofessional Residency in Health of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Federal University of Goiás configured?". As a general research objective, we sought to identify the main characteristics of these PPPs of the Multiprofessional Residency in the Health Area. As a theoretical foundation on the neoliberal impacts and capitalist society we use Marx (1985; 2011), Harvey (2005) and Netto (2012). On Public Health, we rely on Paim (2001; 2008; 2018), Fleury (2009) and Ceccim (2012). The research corpus consists of four Pedagogical Political Projects in force since 2019. They are projects in the Intensive Care, Urgency and Emergency, Hematology and Hemotherapy axes and, finally, the Maternal-Infant axis. To analyze them, we used the methodological approach of the case study, considering that it suits the investigation due to the empirical nature of the theme, in which a contemporary phenomenon is researched within its real-life context. As a result of this research, we can consider that the PPPs of the multiprofessional residency at HC-UFG present evidence of compliance with rigor in relation to the theoretical part of the residency's workload, unlike numerous Brazilian programs. The information in these PPPs is standardized and, in some of the items, they don’t consider the specifics in relation to each one of them.Item Modelagem e Especificação de um Middleware para Redes de Sensores Sem Fio Aplicado à Saúde(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-08-29) NAMBA, Massahide de Oliveira; SENE JUNIOR, Iwens Gervasio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3693296350551971; OLIVEIRA, Leandro Luís Galdino de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5899392002875573Solutions in healthcare are focused on diagnostics, productivity and personal care in this way, theWireless Sensor Networks WSN allow health professionals to monitor people more efficiently. To make integration between WSN and the applications and interfaces that health professionals use more effective its needed a software component that facilitates and mitigates the problems of developing these applications, this component is called middleware. From the perspective of software development, this middleware mainly offers the advantage of focusing the work on the requirements of the software, making the programmer not to worry about the characteristics of hardware and interconnection of devices in the WSN. In the way to facilitate the use of applications in healthcare, this middleware offers some features that are introduced to simplify and ensure the transmission of information in addition to providing reliable use of them. In this work we propose a middleware named Kratos that allows portability and concurrent execution of applications by standardized interfaces to mobile devices, allowing their use in sensor networks applied to health in a transparent way. To evaluate the use of Kratos and its functionality was proposed an application scenario for monitoring electrocardiographic signals (ECG), which will conduct the monitoring and sending alerts to mobile devices from a medical staff. The implementation of the ECG sensor and all the modeling of middleware is in compliance with the IEEE 1451 family of standards.Item Sexualidade, saúde e enfermidade nas obras médicas do Pedro Hispano (séc.XIII)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2012-01-11) SERAPHIN, Catarina Stacciarini; SANTOS, Dulce Oliveira Amarante dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2317207486041256This research intends to analyze sexuality inserted in the medical discourse of the thirteenth century, by the analysis of two important medical works assigned to the Portuguese physician Peter of Spain (1210 1277): the recipe book Thesaurus pauperum, written probably in the second half of the thirteenth century when the physician composed the papal curia and the Questiones super Viaticum, a medical commentary on the Viaticum of Ibn al Jazzār, translated and adapted by Constantine the African composed possibly in the period in which he taught in the Medical School of the University of Siena (1245-1250). During this period, sexuality permeated different fields of knowledge, integrating not only the medical discourse, but also the religious one, a discourse that had greater visibility. Thus, there was a duality concerning sexuality and its practices, that were on one hand repressed and controlled by a normative religious literature, and on the other hand were valued as important components in maintaining the health by the medical literature. This medical works still presented a discussion concerning the diseases related to sexuality, in other words, those that affect in some way the sexual practices or that present them as treatment. By the analysis of this works is possible to notice that the medical discourse diverges to some extent from the religious one, presenting a wider debate in relation to the theme, reiterating the relation among health and sexuality.
