Resumo
This work presents the comparison between simulation and experimental
tests of the repowering system to validate the electrical interactions between
an induction generator and a synchronous generator. Parametric regression
and optimization models are used to find the constructive parameters of the
machines. Two generators are connected to a common bus in steady state,
subject to non-linear loads. The results comparing modeling and
experimental tests show that the induction generator besides the active
power increasing, has a better way for harmonic currents flowing in common
bus. It is concluded that the parametric regression has the advantages of not
needing to know the parameters provided by the machine's manufacturers
and does not need to perform destructive tests and that the induction
generator repowering and attenuates current harmonic components present
at the connection point, improving the network voltage profile.
