Resumo

This work presents a review of several power flow solution methodologies considering uncertainties that are present in the daily life of energy utilities, such as inaccuracy in measurements, database failures, insertion of the specialist's experience, among others. In the chosen methodologies, the uncertainties are represented by distributions of fuzzy possibilities. As the main contribution of the work, a methodology is proposed in which a fuzzy inference system with non-singleton inputs is used as part of the load flow solution. In this proposal, triangular pertinence functions are used as a representation of fuzzy possibility distributions. The input of the inference system is the mismatches of active and reactive liquid power injected into the system bars and the output is increments of the state variables (module and phase angle of the nodal voltages) for each iteration. In addition, it is also possible to obtain the power flows in the transmission lines and transformers, as well as power losses, in a fuzzy possibility distribution format. Small transmission systems are tested for the different methodologies addressed in order to identify the main characteristics of each model and the arithmetic involved in the handling of fuzzy sets. From the implemented algorithms, certain difficulties were identified in the manipulation of fuzzy variables, and alternative solutions were presented aiming at the convergence of the power flow problem to reliable results.
