The Primary Health Care acquires a central role in the Public Health System in
Brazil for being the main entry of the user in the system. It has become the focus
of assessment by the Ministry of Health Care in order to guide the public policies,
as well as to strengthen the working processes of teamwork, ensuring the access
of the population, the completeness and the coordination of care. The Program
for the Improvement of the Access to and Quality of Primary Care (PMAQ-AB)
appears in Brazilian scenario with this order. As one of the stages of this program,
the external assessment focuses on three main approaches: structure, processes
and user satisfaction. This paper aims to perform an analysis of the data from the
first cycle of the PMAQ-AB, collected from July to September 2012, in the city of
Goiania in relation to processes of work "light-dependent technologies ".
Therefore, we performed a cross-sectional study of descriptive approach,
developed from this basis of secondary data and a restriction on the variables:
team planning and actions of the management for organization of the work
process; institutional support; matrix support; team meetings; reception to the
spontaneous demand and organization of the agenda. The study revealed the
need for improvements in the care of users, especially in the assessment of risk
and vulnerability and strengthening of institutional support so that teams can
optimize their organization.
