Resumo
This work presents metric for complexity calculation in discrete event systems. The proposed methodology uses the dynamics of the system taking into account their active connections, mapped in relationship matrix. The complexity metric is applied to three distinct systems. The results show the relationship between the complexity and specic characteristics of each system. The proposed method combines knowledge about the system, contributing to behavior and performance analysis.
