Resumo

This research is part of the History of Education and is linked to the Research Line: State, Policies and History of Education of the Post-Graduation Program in Education of the Federal University of Goiás. It refers to a work that has as its basis the historical biographical analysis of the trajectory of the teacher Zilda Diniz Fontes (1920-1984), memorialist, novelist, poetess, playwright and author of cultural projects in the city of Morrinhos, in the state of Goiás. Based on the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Cultural History, this work attempted to investigate part of the trajectory of this woman within her movements in the spaces she occupied and acted in, either in the school space or in the cultural spaces of a city in the interior of Goiás. For the realization of the research, the places occupied by Zilda in his family formation, in the school, in the magisterium, in the memorialist writings, of poems and of the radio soap opera, having as main sources his literary and artistic productions. We intend, through the traces identified, the necessary confrontations, problematizations and contextualizations, to understand their context, their experiences and their perspectives. For that, we consider: the memorialist work, Morrinhos: from chapel to city oforchards, his only book published in 1980; his poetry written between the late 1960s and early 1980s; his novel written for radio in 1967; and, chosen as main focus, the nine theatrical pieces of his authorship written and presented between the decade of 1960 and beginning of years 1980. As a cut of a larger study, he chose his performance in dramaturgy, considering the familiar and formative aspects that collaborated for his constitution as a theatologist. His literary productions made it possible to understand, from our interpretations, Zilda's perspective on her family and social context, the relationships she established, and also her look at the reality to which she was inserted and acted. It was considered that Zilda Diniz Fontes, as a teacher, writer, novelist, poet and playwright, provided opportunities for learning that exceeded the limits of formal education. It moved through literature, art and education. It was a restless woman who decided, through art, to dialogue with various dimensions of the human.
