dc.description.abstractThis thesis had as general objective to describe and analyze the Ecology of Communicative Interaction of “benzeção”, through the point of view of Ecolinguistcs. In this context, this research seeks to understand how of the “benzedeiras” interacts with the world (individual-world interaction) and with the other (individual-individual interaction). Therefore, the following specific objectives were outlined: a) to observe to the social place that popular knowledge medicalreligious has historically occupied and has occupied today; b) to understand the linguistics, extralinguistics, proxemics and cinesics factors presents in the Ecology of Communicative Interaction healer-patient; and c) to analyze the symbolic elements presents in the ritualistic work of the “benzedeiras”. The theoretical foundation is based on the assumptions of Ecolinguistics, according to Couto (2016), and the Anthropology of the Imaginary, by Gilbert Durand (2012), considering of the need to understand the symbolic motivations – verbal or not – present in blessing practices. Based on ecomethodology and a qualitative approach, we investigated thispractice in its natural environment, through direct contact with the environment and the investigated situation. The fieldwork was based on conversations with a “benzedor” and two “benzedeiras”, residents in Rubiataba-GO, located in the Vale de São Patrício region. In addition to the transcription of conversations, the work also considers written texts (prayers/prayers) provided by them. The study of the EIC was organized from seven elements, whose unveiling allowed the analysis of how the “benzimento” is constituted in its entirety, namely: interlocutors (speaker and listener), scenario, message, subject, interactional rules, systemic rules and communion. From the outlined discussions, we concluded that “benzedeiras” interact in a territory, understood as sacred. In this practice, folk healing experts offer answers to those people who also share their beliefs and faith – the faithful. Concerning the communicative interaction, it was possible to observe that in addition to the verbal components (of a lexicon or vocabulary present in the prayers), the corporal, physical and symbolic components are essential in the constitution of the blessing ritual, because it is based on them that it is organized the “benzedeira-benzido” relationship and the “benzedeira-transcendent (God)” relationship. The communicative interaction in the “benzeção” is a holistic phenomenon, as it is through this interaction in their environments (natural, social, mental) that the community keeps and updates its beliefs, customs and values.eng

dc.description.resumoEsta tese tem como objetivo geral descrever e analisar a Ecologia da Interação Comunicativa (EIC) da benzeção, sob o viés da Ecolinguística. Nesse contexto, esta pesquisa busca compreender como as benzedeiras interagem com o mundo (interação indivíduo-mundo) e com o outro (interação indivíduo-indivíduo). Para tanto, foram traçados os seguintes objetivos específicos: a) atentar para o lugar social que ocuparam, historicamente, e tem ocupado, hoje, os saberes populares – médico-religiosos; b) compreender os fatores linguísticos, extralinguísticos, proxêmicos e cinésicos presentes na Ecologia da Interação Comunicativa curador(a)-doente; e c) analisar os elementos simbólicos presentes no fazer ritualístico das benzedeiras. A fundamentação teórica está calcada nos pressupostos da Ecolinguística, segundo Couto, H. (2016), e da Antropologia do Imaginário, de Gilbert Durand (2012), tendo em vista a necessidade de compreender as motivações simbólicas – verbais ou não – presentes na prática da benzeção. Com base na ecometodologia e em uma abordagem qualitativa, investigamos essa prática em seu ambiente natural, por meio do contato direto com o ambiente e com a situação investigada. O trabalho de campo se orientou a partir de conversas com um benzedor e duas benzedeiras, moradores da cidade de Rubiataba-Goiás, localizada na região do Vale de São Patrício. Além da transcrição das conversas, este trabalho constitui-se, ainda, de textos escritos (rezas/orações) fornecidos por eles. O estudo da EIC foi organizado a partir de sete elementos, cujo desvelamento possibilitou a análise de como a benzeção se constitui em sua totalidade, a saber: interlocutores (falante e ouvinte), cenário, mensagem, assunto, regras interacionais, regras sistêmicas e comunhão. A partir das discussões traçadas, concluímos que benzedeira-benzido interagem em um território, entendido pela agente de cura como sagrado. Nessa prática, as especialistas populares de cura oferecem respostas a essas pessoas que também compartilham de suas crenças – os fiéis. Quanto à interação comunicativa, foi possível observar que para além dos componentes verbais (de um léxico ou vocabulário presente nas rezas), os componentes corporais, físicos e simbólicos são essenciais na constituição do ritual da benzeção, já que é a partir deles que se organiza tanto a relação da benzedeira com o benzido, quanto da benzedeira com o transcendente (Deus). A interação comunicativa na benzeção é um fenômeno holístico, na medida em que é por meio dessa interação em seus meios ambientes (natural, social, mental) que a comunidade mantém e atualiza suas crenças, costumes e valores.pt_BR
