Item 20 anos do curso de letras/espanhol da UFG: um sonho do Prof. Fernando Plaza(Letícia de Souza Carrijo, 2019-06) Silva, Cleidimar Aparecida Mendonça eThis article pays tribute to a Chilean professor, Fernando Plaza Mallea, who idealized and initiated the Spanish Language Teaching Programme at UFG, currently celebrating 20 years since the graduation of the first group. He taught Latin and Spanish at the former ICHL and at what we know today as the College of Letters, at the Federal University of Goias. Professor Plaza saw the possibility of a Spanish Teaching Education Programme after the creation of Mercosul, the South Common Market, in 1991, a partnership on free trade and customs between Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay; and also due to the fact that Brazil is surrounded by Spanish-speaking countries in South America. When professor Plaza retired in 1996, he could see his dream, though partially, fulfilled. According to the UFG Department of Registration and Diplomas, from 1998 to 2018, the Spanish Language Teaching Programme contributed to the education of 268 teachers. Many of these alumni have so far applied for different teaching selections and have taught in different levels (primary and secondary schools, technology institutions, and colleges). After being able to also witness some of his former students working as professors at the UFG Spanish Language Teaching Programme, professor Plaza died in 2004.Item A geopolítica na constituição do conhecimento geográfico escolar(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-12-29) Cecim, Jéssica da Silva RodriguesThis article aims to analyze Geopolitics in the context of teaching Geography in basic education. Regarding the methodology, we dialogue with the assumptions of the Theory of Discourse, authored by Laclau and Mouffe (2015). We conducted interviews with teachers working in different segments of basic education and interpreted their answers using the corresponding bibliography, addressing the discussions presented in the text. We concluded that there are articulations responsible for keeping school subjectsin curricula and that basic education in Geography, particularly its identification with Geopolitics through subjects of Current Affairs, plays the aforementioned role reaffirming the educational relevancy of this school subject. Considering the contents of Geopolitics, we concluded that the concept of territoryemerges as the great organizing element of the construction of Geography as school-level knowledge. In this sense, the scale notions become pertinent in teaching Geography, in which the relations between the local and the global are constantly mobilized as the great markers of the possibility of comprehension of social reality.Item Abordagens complexas: algumas premissas educacionais no Cepae(Maria de Fátima Cruvinel, 2008) Rabelo, DaniloThe impact of the cyberculture and some theories on the knowledge in the information society, at the last decades, has leaded the educators to rethink their theoretical and methodological presuppositions in the learning and teaching process. In this context, a cognitive ecology (Lévy) rethinks and criticizes the rationalism and the traditional ways of apprehending and understanding the knowledge and human relationships with the real and virtual ambient. Thus, a rhizomatic and complex web of theories, promoting a transversal or transdisciplinar dialogue (Morin) and of retroactivity or reversibility was established in the academic milieu and, many times, has mobilized the public opinion. New conceptions about intelligence (Gardner), mind (Minsky), leisure (De Masi) etc. have over passed the dual and essentialist vision of opposite poles, the fragmentation of knowledge and the reductionism. Applied to education, these humanist approaches are aimed not only to the formation of citizens, but also to the symbolic representations of new ways of life – inner life – as social necessities. These are some premises that guide some educational experiences at Cepae.Item Ações avaliativas oficiais: para que avaliar?(Maria de Fátima Cruvinel, 2011-06-30) Carvalho, Maria Alice de SousaThe aim of this study is to discuss the assessment proposed by the Ministry of Education in Decree 6094 (BRASIL, 2007), in particular, the programs Basic Education Index and the Brazil Test. Regarding that teachers and students are active subjects of the teaching and learning process, this cultural production, popularized by the mass media, is indicated to constitute the net or web of meanings of this study. An alternative language that can be aggregated to other informative resources is proposed to mediate the elaboration of the hypertext, aiming to make this study more meaningful to the students.Item Análise dos processos de interpretação textual em língua estrangeira(Maria de Fátima Cruvinel, 2005-06) Carvalho, Iris Oliveira deThe processing of the read text is beyond the simple recognition of the words. To understand a text, the use of interpretation mechanisms based in the knowledge of the code and subject are necessary. Necessary as well are the cultural, ideological and social reconstruction values established by the author during the text construction. The reading in foreign language uses the same interpretation mechanisms, however it demands the sociocultural knowledge of the target language. Thus, from the reading in foreign language we analyze in this article the processes through which the readers negotiate the meaning of the meaning of the text making its interpretation.Item Aprendizagem colaborativa: análise de uma atividade de inglês em grupo(Maria de Fátima Cruvinel, 2009) Duarte, Magali SaddiThis paper aims at reporting a collaborative process observed in an English class activity, in a Sociocultural perspective. Reflexões sobre a prática(Maria de Fátima Cruvinel, 2008) Gonçalves Júnior, Marcos AntônioThis article presents a reflection on two aspects: firstly, on the possibility of developing an interdisciplinary work in classroom involving the contemporary picture – specially the cubism, abstractionism and Mathematics – mainly geometry. This study was based on a qualitative field research carried out with students of the 3rd year of the integrated technical internet computing course of the Federal Institute of Goiás - Formosa, where we developed a pedagogical intervention in a period of two months, approaching the following contents: juggling with balls and flower stick, “rola-rola” and ropes. The instruments for data collection were structured observation, class reports and a questionnaire. We can take from this study that good planning, allied to the historical aspects of these arts, which have in its essence creativity and body expression, as well as a good process of mediation, based on the action-reflection-action movement, made possible the development of a more expressive, creative, critical and human Physical Education. In this way, we contribute to the integral formation of students, since from the learning process of the circus arts, they have better objective conditions for not reproducing some elements of capitalist society - competition, exploitation, domination, meritocracy, among others - that have been historically materialized in Physical Education classes.Item O atendimento educacional especializado (AEE) e o ensino de libras/ português escrito(Evandson Paiva Ferreira, 2017-06) Brito, Kelly Francisca da Silva; Silva Neta, Segismunda Sampaio daThis artide discusses the experience developed with death students in the Atendimento Educacional Especializado - AEE (Special Education Support) of the Centro de Capacitação de Profissionais da Educação e de Atendimento às Pessoas com Surdez - CAS/GO (Center of Capacitation for Education Professionals and of Support for Death People) in Goiânia.
