Resumo
The experiment aimed evaluate the effect of
probiotic based of Bacillus subtillis, on diet supply, in
differents phases on performance and egg quality of 70
week-old laying hens, in postmolt phase. A completely
randomized experimental design with eight treatments and
four replicates of six Lohmann hens per replicate was used.
The laying experimental period was 20 weeks, divided in
five cycles of four weeks each. The birds were submitted to
the treatments: probiotic supplementation during pullet
phase, supplementation during laying and postmolt phases,
supplementation during pullet and laying phases,
supplementation during pullet phase, supplementation
during pullet and postmolt phases, supplementation during
laying phase, supplementation during laying and postmolt
phases, supplementation during postmolt phase and no
probiotic supplementation. The probiotic did not affect the
productive performance and egg quality of laying hen from
70 to 90 week of age.
